Emily's POV:
Now I have English in room 105, which is a few corridors from my home room. As I look at the seating plan I'm in the back row. Once I sit down I see that guy that I like and he sits down next to me. I look on the board and see that his name is George Cooper. "Alright class get out your pen and notebook and copy the date and title from the board" says the teacher.
"Aw crap" says George.
I look over and say "Is everything okay?"
"I just don't have a pen on me, do you have one by any chance?"
"Sure" I say and hand him the pen.
"By the way my name's George but everyone calls me Georgie" he says with his thick Texas accent.
"I'm Emily" I reply "Nice to meet you"
"I like your accent. Where ya from" He asks.
"I've just moved here from the UK"
"Aw nice. I've always lived here it's a bit dull to be honest."
I grin.
"Weren't you in my home room?" I ask.
"Oh yeah, thought I recognised ya" he says.
"Do you know what that young boy was doing there?"
Georgie rolls his eyes.
"Sorry?" I add.
"He's my little brother, Sheldon"
"Oh my goodness how did he manage that?" I ask in shock.
"He's hella smart so my parents sent him here" he replies.
"How old is he?"
"Ten"
"Oh how sweet" I say.
"No he ain't, he's so annoying" Georgie replies "He's always tryin' to tell me about some stupid science crap"
"Fair enough" I say and we both grin to each other.
The teacher starts talking about our work so we finish our conversation. I couldn't really concentrate though because of the butterflies in my stomach.
