In Love With A Boy Named Georgie

Part 8

We arrive back at the coopers after the movie.
"Hey guys!" Mary said. She's so lovely and caring and like a second mother to me.
"Hey" Georgie replies as he closes the door.
"Hi, Mary" I add.
"So how was the movie?" She says "was it fun?"
"It was brilliant!" I say. "It might have been even better than the first!"
"Well that's nice to hear"
"Mom can Emily stay over tonight, since she's already staying for dinner and all?" Georgie asks.
"Well since it's you, Emily, I'd be more than happy for you to stay over" Mary says with a smile plastered over her face.
"Thank you very much" I say.
"Who's staying over?" George sr asks as he walks in from the back door.
"Emily is" she replies.
"Georgie... and a girl?" George says sounding quite concerned.
"It's Emily we're talking about. She's sensible" she says.
"Ok then, I suppose" he says as he walks off looking at Georgie, pointing his two fingers at his eyes and back at Georgie's, as trying to say I have my eyes on you.
"Well we're gonna go to my room now" Georgie says, leading me, holding my hand.
On the way to his room he bump into Missy she says "Ooooh"
Georgie shakes his head and says "Go away Missy"
I say to Missy "Um... hi" in an awkward but kind way.
"Hi" she replies while smiling "are you staying over, Emily?"
"Yes, is that ok?" I ask her.
"Yeah! I've always wanted a big sister and this is the closest I've even been to having one"
"Ok that's good" I reply.
As she walks off I hear a faint "Georgie and Emily sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G"
"Shut up, Missy" Georgie says.
I laugh and smile as he opens the door to his room.
