Chap / Nine

Zhu Hong opened her eyes and was looking around her, she was scared being alone in that room.

Gu Qing Pei with his assistant doctor came running to see her as they were accompanied with Wang.

"Zhu Hong are you ok?" Gu asked her while his assistant is checking her pulses on the machines.

"Can you say something please or maybe just move your head?" Gu was trying to make her talk to see if she is aware of what's around her.

"Z.....h..n"

"What?" Gu approaches his ear to her lips so he could hear clearly.

"Z.h...an huh" she could barely talk.

"Zhan is he someone you know?"

"Zhan Y...a..o" she said the full name finally.

"Who is he?, how can we reach for him?" Gu asked then he realised it's difficult for her to answer.

"We need to call for her family, do you know this man Wang" asked his assistant.

"I have no idea" she answered.

Zhu Hong was crying, she is looking at Wang and feeling scared.

Gu Qing Pei was smart and got that, he prepared an injection and looked at Zhu Hong with a smile on his face.

Zhu Hong was terrified, she was thinking that he is gonna harm her.

He put her to sleep again and after a while she lost consciousness again.

"Well she fell asleep again" Wang said.

"Again?" Gu got that and turned to look at the astonished Wang.

"Did she ever wake up before?" Gu was sharp.

"I mean, I don't know the girl who assisted her before me said something like that maybe she was lying" she found away to escape her mistake

"Well that was not mentioned in her medical record, I think she was confused maybe, well we need to wait for her to wake up again you can rest" he smiled gently to Wang and left the room with his assistant.

"You can go and rest" he sent him off so he could be alone.

Gu Qing Pei made her purposely asleep to protect her because if she remained awake something will happen to her for sure.

"That girl has been imprisoned in that room since long ago, well I need to do something for her" Gu Qing Pei needed help, and he can trust no one but Yezun.

Gu's dad called him to ask him for why he has left the house if it's his day off.

"Sorry father I had an emergency so I had to go back" Gu lied for his father when the real reason was Yuan Yang.

"Are you free tomorrow because I arranged a date for you with one of the employee at my company, she is one of the best worker and very smart and beautiful plus her father is soon to be our partner"

"Ok just send me the date and  time and I will fly there" Gu Qing Pei was happy by pleasing his father for the long term.

"Dad I need to go back to work take a good care of you"

"Gu is there anything bothering you at home?" His dad sensed something unusual.

"Me nothing why  you ask?"

"I just wanted to know if anything is bothering you since you are rarely coming back home" his dad felt sad for not seeing his son often.

"I will pass by tomorrow if you miss me just say so and I will come running to you dad" Gu Qing Pei was laughing and joking with his dad.
