People of Kaliyuga! Do you hear me?
I am the third Pandava, the wielder of Gandiva, the friend of Jagannatha Himself! I am but the one who has been worshipped by many as the greatest hero of Dwapara, the Mahanayaka, but still remained misunderstood to many!
Yes, misunderstood! Because many of you have not yet known me fully! I am not an arrow to reach my target appearing from nowhere. There was an able bow that always stood behind me, gave it's support, and stretched itself, deformed itself to make me reach my target successfully. That bow was my family, my beloved family! Without a bow no arrow can hit its target. Without my family, I do not exist!
If you think I have done anything great in my life, its credit goes to their unconditional love for me! It is my mother's teachings and sacrifices, my righteous eldest brother's paternal guidance, and Bhrata Bhima's protective shelter that gave me enough comfort to concentrate on my practices. It is my Nakula and Sahadeva's love and respect, my Panchali's inspiration, Ulupi's selfless sacrifice, Chitrangada's strength and Subhadra's never-ending support that kept me steady in my worst days! It is Sakha Krishna and Sakhi Satyabhama's caring protection, along with Dau, Revati Bhabhi and other Bharyas, that made me what I am to you! Without them your Gandivadhari is nothing! And I mean it. Nothing!
Reader of Kaliyuga! If you admire me, admire them too! For I live in them, and they live in me! And, pray, do not call me Mahanayaka! Do not make me feel separated from the ones I love. Call me Pandava, which carries my father's blessing to me! Call me Paartha, which is my mother's love for me! Call me KrishnaSakha, for that is Lord's affection itself for me! Call me Arjuna, the name my four brothers called me with! This is all I want, to feel one with them! I have no more glory than being with my loved ones, my family!
This is my story. This is their story, too! This is not just a story of envy, conflicts and warfare, rather this is a Punya Katha of love, sacrifice and Dharma, which is a lesson to one and all!
Sakha! Give me strength to speak the truth! Be with me in this journey, as you always were to drive the chariot of my life! Today, when the people of Kaliyuga are celebrating friendship, I dedicate this journey of my life to you and my Sakhi, the eternal friends of mine, seeking for your blessings!
Om Namah Bhagavate Vaasudevaya!
