I think he has ridden a unicycle before just because of how much more difficult it would be for him with all of his extra arms.
Like when he was a little kid one of his friends could do it so he wanted to do it but it was hard because of the whole balance thing you have to maintain while riding it, but eventually Shoji was able to ride it and rode the unicycle with his childhood friends from time to time.
And he would either have a blue or a silver colored unicycle.
