Castiel made his way into the only place he felt like himself. A place where nobody could bother him or call him names.

"Welcome back to the Library, Castiel."
Kevin, a boy who works at the checkout smiled at him.

Castiel nodded, moving along further into the library.

There were people sitting quietly at their own tables, whispering to each other and reading or typing.

Castiel didn't worry about them, he already had his own area he always sat at.

It was at the far end of the library, a two person table with a small lamp in the middle. It also had its own place for a charger and definitely well hidden off from people.

Castiel turned one of the bookshelves and stopped when he noticed his table had been taken.

Nobody has ever sat there. It's- it's Castiel's place?

He made his way over there, not really to argue over anything, but more to investigate who it was since they didn't look familiar to him.

The boy sitting at the table looked up at Castiel, his eyes going wide at the stranger coming towards him.

"Hello." Castiel smiled at the boy. He took notice of his quick features, long dark hair that rested slightly above his shoulders, almost like Gabriel and he seemed to have been reading a book.

"Uhm." The boy shifted in his seat. "Hi?"

"Can I sit here? This is usually my table during lunch period, so-"

The boy raised an eyebrow, "Ya. I mean sure, yes, you can sit here, yes, sorry. I didn't know anybody sat here."

The boy's face seemed to turn a bright pink that made Castiel grin, at least be wasn't a jerk.

Castiel sat down across from him, "I don't mean to make you uncomfortable, I understand you're new Considering I've never seen you before."

A junior, Castiel guessed.

"Yeah, me and my brother. We're both new. I'm Sam."

Castiel stuck out his hand for Castiel to shake, which the blue eyed boy took with a smile.

"Castiel."

Sam's eyes lightened up with recognition.

"Nice to meet you Castiel."

Castiel took back his hand.

"So you're into witch magic or something?"
Castiel raised an eyebrow at the book Sam had closed in front of him.

The boy blushed, "I- um. It's-"

Castiel laughed, "I don't judge. I'm just glad you're not some jerk causing destruction."

Sam chuckled, "Definitely not me, the guy your looking for in my brother. He's the one who needs to be watched most of the time."

"Sounds like a head ache."

"I can't even begin to explain. He's always running around playing with girls and boys who are dumb enough to fall into his looks. He definitely doesn't know how to keep a relationship, he's just out looking for trouble at any time of the day."

"Yikes. I should keep my eye out for him then?"

"You look like his type, I would advise you watch yourself."

Castiel felt his face heat up. He'd never been someone's type really.

"But He's not too much I guess. He's nice once you get to know him. It's really hard to know him though, with all the walls he's built, it's hard to crack him."
