Request: Hello, I would like to request a tom hiddleston x reader where the two of them are on the ellen degeneres show, and nobody knows that they have been together for 1 ½ years already. Maybe Ellen could make the reader play Who'd you rather? and tom is in one of the pics? and then they come out about their relationship and we see what happens after? Like what their life is like after the world knows about it? Thank you very much!!! <3 :-D
"And our next guests are two people that I am very excited to see! You've seen them on screen as our beloved God and Goddess of Mischief! Tom Hiddleston and Y/N L/N!" The crowd roared as the two of you walked onto the stage. Ellen stood up to give you both hugs. You sat closest to Ellen on the couch next to hers and Tom next to you.
"Hey guys, how are you?" Ellen asked.
"Wonderful, thank you! And yourself?" Ellen smiled widely, admiring Tom's heavy accent.
"Better now that I can listen to talk nonsense to me." The crowd laughed at her compliment. "And of course you too Y/N, but how can you not love that accent, I mean what do you do on set? Swoon?" You giggled at her question remembering the first time you met Tom. You were completely taken by his accent, and over all demeanor. But yes, how could you not?
"Well, at first I was kind of shocked because I didn't know him too well and really didn't expect...well this," You gesture to Tom. "But over time it just became the norm. But I can agree that listening to him talk is always entertaining." You heard people (mostly women) cheering at your words.
"I couldn't agree more. Tom, I might have to pay you to talk me to death. You could be telling me the formula for space travel and I might turn just for you."
He looked at her and laughed, his hand over his stomach. "I'm quite flattered really, but I think I will spare you the boring details of such a thing."
"Well that's just too bad. I'm sure all of us here would happily oblige, right guys?" Once again the crowd erupted into cheers and whistles, but after a minute, Ellen looked to the both of you. "So both of you play a God and Goddess. Is the chemistry on screen real or just good acting?"
"Ehehe, well I'd like to say Y/N and I have a good chemistry together. Often times between scene takes we would run lines together or have lunch. The directors felt it was important for us to build a relationship off screen in order for it to be portrayed easily on screen. But Y/N is quite an interesting woman so it was a rather enjoyable task." He looked at you and smiled. If only they knew...
"Flattery will get him everywhere, especially with that accent. But I do agree with Tom. It was actually pretty easy to become such good friends. He was interesting and extremely polite. Tom is also an amazing actor and extremely dedicated. With this film being one of my first major jobs, he has helped me immensely in figuring out a role and really bringing my character to life." Ellen looked at you intently, seeming to process everything you both had said.
After a moment she laughed and stated, "Just friends. I have a feeling there's something else kids, but maybe a game might help us figure that out!" You look behind you to see the screen change to show big, block letters reading, 'Who'd You Rather' and you shook your head knowingly.
"Alright, I'm sure you know how this game is played. However this time this one is for Y/N. You'll see two men up on the screen and you will select your preferred one and explain why. Ready?"
You shook your head, smiling. "This is gonna get me in trouble, but I guess."
On the screen you see the image of Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan. You take a moment to think about your answer. You then turn to Ellen. "I'm gonna have to go with Chris on this one. He's like a puppy and is pretty adorable, on and off set. And who doesn't like puppies?" Ellen nods her head slowly.
"Tom? What do you say to this?"
"I'm inclined to agree." He says with a serious face. The crowd laughed at him. Him and Chris were practically brothers on set. They spent perhaps too much time together.
The screen changed again and on the screen was a picture of Chris Hemsworth and Tom. You didn't even have to consider this one. "Easy. Tom." Ellen raised her eyebrows in surprise at your quick response and looked at the crowd smirking at your answer.
"Why am I not surprised Y/N? Care to explain this one then?" She asked suggestively.
"Uh, well..." You looked to Tom to silently ask permission. He simply nodded, and then grabbed your hand, gaining small gasps from the crowd. "I think it would be awkward to be with Chris when I've got this good fellow here." You say as your pull his hand into your lap. Ellen's mouth just falls open and everyone went crazy. You laughed at how many of them were surprised, but happy for you two.
After a moment, the crowd quiets down. "So, how long has this been going on? And why haven't you said anything?" Ellen asks, a hint of offense in her voice, but you knew she was teasing.
Tom gently squeezes your hand as he goes to answer. "Well, it's been almost a year and half next week. The first time I saw this lovely woman was when they were test running her role. She was one of the ladies to audition and she was absolutely stunning. I went to her after the auditions and just needed to meet her." He looks at you and brings your hand to his lips. "We wanted to keep things quiet because there was already so much happening with the movie coming out. And well...it was quite nice to have some privacy, but our secrets out now, but we welcome the attention."
"My children are growing up." Ellen says, pretending to wipe tears in her eyes. Everyone laughs at her actions, but you were just happy everyone reacted kindly to your news. You loved Tom and he loved you. Of course you both preferred to stay private about this, but there were so many rumors going around about you two, it was time to silence them.
"Well there you have it folks. The true God and Goddess of Mischief!" Everyone clapped around you. You and Tom stood up and took a bow, still holding hands. You waved to the people before you as Tom led you off the stage.
You both entered into a room with couches, and a table filled with snacks and drinks for you both. Tom led you to the couch and sat down next to you. "How do you feel?" He asked.
"I'm Ok I think. I can't imagine what people are going to be saying by tomorrow, but I don't care. I've got you and that's more than enough." He smiled warmly and kissed your hands again.
"Don't worry what people will say, my love. I have never met such a beautiful woman such as yourself. And if others fail to see that, then that is a painful loss." You feel tears form against your eyelids. You gripped his hands harder. You weren't sad, but he always had a way with words. Always making you feel like the only woman in the world deserving of his attention. "You are a woman beyond her years and I am a very lucky man. So from today and going forward, I will be there to support you. To be your partner and love you for exactly who you are. Thank you for the past year. Here's to many more."
