Our Secret ( Niah's POV)

   I woke up really early in the morning and went to check on April, Deedee, and Jayden. Seeing that they are all sleeping I go downstairs to make some chicken and fries because why not? After I finished making the food, I walked over to the window and sat in the window seat looking at everybody walking around not having a care in the world.

      People carelessly walked around talking on their phones, running, walking, pushing into each other trying to get to work on time. You can tell a lot by looking at people. Like how the man speed walking while aggressively talking into the phone is running late to work and was receiving bad news about his job and was trying to get there as soon as possible.

    The lady running out the building with a bagel in her mouth and heels in her handset that keys and a briefcase was definitely not gonna make it the way she struggles to open the door. If she's late she could be fired but nobody would really know other than the people around her and the people she worked with.

   I'm not a creep if that's what you're thinking it's just people are fascinating. Now that I think about it I really am a creep. Shaking my head, I let my thoughts wonder off from the people below me rushing to work to everything else around me.

    Was I living my best life? yes, you could say i'm content and happy where I am now. I'm living with my two best friends and deedee's god son Jayden and it's all fun and games until we get mad at each other, we go all out. But, I do love them and at least our job pays well too so we live comfortably. As I put a fry into my mouth, I seen the sun in the distance and I instantly knew what was coming.

   "NIAH" I heard deedee yell from her room. I sighed and got up with my plate and walked towards her room only to see her in the bathroom struggling with Jayden's hair. I looked up at her as she asked me to help her with Jayden's hair since he kept moving around a lot.

     I looked at her like she was crazy, "No, girl you need to spank that child. Give that child a two piece and a biscuit.... bad ass child and he only one.." I looked at his hair and kissed my teeth putting fries into my mouth. I walked to my room to get ready for work while trying to finish my food so nobody would steal it while I wasn't here.

     When I finished eating, I heard april screaming at someone to shut up. After laughing when I realized who she was talking to , I finished getting ready for work and tied my hair into a ponytail and walked out of my room.

      While running to put on my shoes, I checked my phone to see the time and noticed we only have 10 minutes to get to work. I yelled to April and Deedee that we have 10 minutes left to get there and noticed Deedee carrying Jayden knowing she'll meet us at the bus stop while April and I get to walking.

    I gave deedee her shoes and grabbed april and all my belongings and ran out the door to the bus stop. Soon enough, I see deedee running to the bus stop and look to see the bus down the street . As deedee came to the bus stop the bus pulled up and we got on the bus. Once everyone got on the bus pulled into the direction of our jobs. April works for Reece's cousin, Chris King.

    I put in my earbuds when I started to hear april talking about not wanting to work anymore. April knows miracles didn't happen where we find someone to tell us we didn't have to work anymore because we knew it couldn't happen. At least I wanted to believe that. I knew things came with a price all my past relationships wanted me for my cooter cat and not for me (yea I said cooter cat it's what I call it got a problem?).

    I wish things turned out better for me. I wish someone fell in love with me and made me feel special but, I know things don't ever go my way. I just wish they do.

    Arriving to the rich neighborhood I take out my earbuds only to hear april say, "Man i'll fuck one of these rich white men." I looked at her like she was crazy " What?... you know what... shut up." I said to april.

" i'll be a whore too... but only for daddy." Deedee said sticking her tongue out at April. I shook my head at them. "Shut your nasty virgin ass up." April said mushing Deedee's head. I tuned out their bickering and fighting until I got fed up and hit both of them to which they replied to it saying "Don't hit me" in unison and went back to their bickering.

     I sighed tuning them out again until we pulled up to Mr.King's house and knew it's time to get to work. We get off the bus and walk towards the house admiring it and all the cars it has.

    As a little girl, I always dreamed of having this as my life. The cars not so much, but, I always wanted a big house with my future husband with 7 dogs and 3 kids. I wanted to be a nurse but, that sadly went down the drain when I couldn't financially support myself due to my parents got into a. argument with my dad not supporting me in college which made my mom not support me either.

      But, i'm glad I had my best friends there for me and we soon got this job working for Reece King. I heard a lot of things about Reece but, I also hear things about his brother, Vincent King.

    He owns his own business and is just a little bit below his brother in ranking but he's still a billionaire. He's really intimidating but, I also know he's arrogant, mean, a dickhead, and many more. Yea people talk about what he's like in bed but that's ew no. I never met him, I only see pictures and videos about him when he does interviews and such and such. But that's enough about him, I walk into the house and get ready to start the day at my job.
