The next day, me and the Avengers were in the quinjet, heading to Camp Halfblood. To say I was nervous was the understatement of the decade. I had disappeared right when Camp was at its weakest, and I could guess some people weren't so happy about that.
"Are we there yet?" Sighed Rocket. A chorus of groans replied: This had been the sixth time that he had asked.
"No. Be patient." I said.
"So, what's the deal with this place? Satellites and files say it doesn't exist, and yet you're saying that it does." Asked Nat as she looked up from her tablet.
"Mist affects technology as well. Show Steve some of the satellite pictures and he'll say he can see it."
Nat passed steve the tablet, and he confirmed he could see it, "So when are me, Rhodey, Rocket and Bruce going to be able to see through this 'mist'?" She asked.
"Soon. I'll have ask the Gods to permit it."
"Are we there yet?"
"Shut up!" Everyone chorused, earning a scowl from Rocket. I checked the screen.
"Yes, we are. We should be landing in about five minutes."
Five minutes later, the jet touched down and we exited it, the border in sight. Nico ran up to us, a massive grin on his face.
"Hi Perce! Glad you guys could make it! Thalia and Piper are waiting at the border to give you guys access. Now if you would follow me!" We all followed Nico up the hill. Eventually, Thalia and Piper came into sight and I couldn't help a massive grin spread across my face.
Suddenly, and idea popped into my head and I whispered something to Nico. He grinned as well and began to set the plan in motion.
We both froze and began to look around nervously. Eventually, the Avengers noticed and stopped to look at us.
"What's wrong, Son of Jack?" Asked Thor.
I tried to muster as much fear into my voice as I could, "We need to go, now."
Someone give this man an Oscar!
It seemed to work, and we all ran as quickly as we could to the border. Thalia and Piper stilled and began to draw their weapons, but I sent them a wink, hoping that they would see it and understand. They didn't, but at least it added to the joke. Me and Nico ran through the border.
While six thunks confirmed that the Avengers had run headfirst into it.
All was silent.
And then Thalia, Piper, Nico, any other demigods who were watching and I burst out laughing.
We all laughed as the Avengers clutched their heads and their noses. Thalia and Piper ran up to us, a massive grin on both of their faces.
"That was amazing! The looks on their faces when they hit the wall!" Wheezed Piper through her laughs.
"Please tell me someone got that on camera."
"Percy! Let us in right now!" I turned to see Nat giving us a death glare to rival Clarisse's. I slowly walked over to them, and tried not to shy away from their glares.
"Dude, you better run once you've given them entrance," Whispered Nico from behind me. I grimaced.
"Err.. Hi, guys." I said once I reached the border.
