Summary:
Indie Jasper is a shy, unknown writer. Anson Fischart is the school's pretty boy.
Indie is not popular by any means, but Anson's status of quarterback, paired with his sandy blonde hair and blue eyed gaze have him at the top of the school's hierarchy.
As it appears Indie and Anson are polar opposites of each other. Yet when their paths cross, it seems they are more similar than they knew. Adding in some spiteful ex-lovers, dangerous encounters, risky situations, Indie finds herself in the arms of her opposite time and time again.
Before long the same question is in the back of every mind:
How can Indie navigate through her feelings for Anson, without getting hurt in the process?

9/10
I've read this book a couple of times and I absolutely love Anson. He's super sweet and cares about the main character so much.
I can relate to Indie in many levels which is probably one of the reasons I enjoyed the book so much.
Indie is a book worm, she focuses on her classes, her family and her best friend. Anson is the quarterback of the high school's football team and everyone loves him. Anson starts noticing Indie and really wants to get to know her. The two go through obstacles about what they want in and from a relationship.
I definitely recommend reading it, the writing style kept me reading and unable to but my phone down.
There is also 2 sequels/spin-offs to this book, one is called His Gold which is about Anson's bestfriend, Bryce, and his love interest Caroline, and the next is called Ace of Hearts which is about Indie's younger sister, Brynn, and her love interest, Ace.
