Prep for battle

Hey readers, I know the last chapter wasn't really my best work, I just felt that I had to put something to satisfy the eagerness you may have had because of the cliffhanger ending of chapter four.

"Is he awake" I heard Spencer mumble

"I think he got hit hard" Randy added

"I'm fine" I said weakly, sitting up

I saw everyone looking at me worried then I saw myself inside a laser beam cage, I immediately understood what had happened, the evil me must have come to this dimension when I jumped through the portal.

"What happened?" master Shifu asked seemingly interested

"I was in an alternate dimension" I explained "there we were evil and the dead man and his crew were good" I continued as I weakly got up on my feet.

As everyone's focus seemed to be on me, I noticed master Shifu walking away looking very worried as he now went inside the dojo.

"I know about the duel" I said as I slowly walked in, "I know about my destiny being the only reason why I'm here" I continued.

"Who told You?" He asked angrily, you could sense the anger in his tone even though he probably tried his best to hide it

I now started walking towards the exit so as to avoid any other questions he might probably ask me, before he stopped me by the sound of his voice as it was like booming thunder.

"Who told you?" he asked again, only this time more furious, angry, enraged, mad call it whatever you want but that man was pretty scary.

"I overheard you talking with Randy's dad" I lied not wanting to keep Mason in trouble

Let me explain, Randy's dad is like the president of the freedom fighter, a position that came to him automatically as it was Randy's great great great great great great great great great and fifteen more greats grandfather that discovered the freedom fighters before it was modernized into the bull crap of nowadays, I'm not even a freedom fighter and somehow my supposed destiny is to duel the dead man.

He walked away very angry which I could understand why before turning around and saying "we'll start training tomorrow"

i didn't understand a thing he just said, we were supposed to start training tomorrow, why?,how?,when?, okay I know that last one but why the fuck are we starting training tomorrow as everything now came to me,I was now wondering why the hell we were starting training tomorrow, I now tried to protest or at least get him to call off the training when my battle orb suddenly maxed out, I tried to run after him but me being too weak fell on the floor and went into a very deep slumber.

i woke up at the same spot in the dojo where I fell and now grunted to get my ass up before seeing dressed up in black leather all over his body with a ruby at the alloy connecting both the blade and the handle together

"this is a rubian sword" master Shifu explained while feeling the blade of the swords

"Probably noticed my puzzled face" I thought to myself "and why?" I asked openly this time

"i told you we were going to start training today" he said as the anger that vanished yesterday suddenly found its way back to master Shifu somehow

I suddenly remembered everything that happened last night including my battle orb maxing out before I started searching for it  

"Where could it be?" I asked myself before noticing master Shifu walk away

Seriously!, I lost my battle orb and instead of helping me find it, he just makes his way back to the dojo, what about training, we were supposed to train today but he just walks away, apparently whatever he was doing there was more important than than training

"Here is your battle orb" he said as he stretched out his hand giving me my battle orb "it won't max out for the next six months" he continued as I now snatched my battle orb without showing any form of gratitude or anything.

I then transformed into my super form seeing some kind of armor all over my body, it even covered my face

I now grabbed a sword, which now started to glow oddly

"Kun Je Kay" master shifu said as I now saw three symbols floating in mid air appearing on mine and his swords

I ran across the room looking for an offensive so I jumped on a cargo box, did a backflip and tried to have my sword at his back, but he turned around and blocked, then he gave me a big boot and followed it up with a spinning heel kick making me flip and land on my body

"Is that all you can do" he asked furiously "you're gonna face the dead man and you can't even fight me for up to five minutes, how would you fight the dead man if you can't last up to five minutes fighting me" he continued even more angry this time

"So... about my new power" I say gesturing to the calender seeing as today is power upgrade day, which means I get a new power

"What will my power be?" I thought to myself

It was like last month, they tested their powers in combat but, instead of me getting a new power, I was busy training with master shifu, who was "preparing" my duel with the dead man, I mean me finding out about my destiny doesn't mean it's going to happen anytime soon, it could be in twenty years for all we know, he said and i quote "it could be at anytime, so you must be ready"

I don't even like the fact that i'm here and he expects me to be thrilled about having to fight the dead man?, can't the army blow up their headquarters or something, why does it always have to be a superhero or a supernatural being, why?, whyy?. I came out battered and bruised from the dojo while master Shifu as if he didn't even fight at all

"That's gotta hurt" Spencer said from a distance

"It does" i replied

I limped back to my house to meet my blockhead brother Steve at the door, clearing regretting the fact that he didn't use me as his punching bag last night

"Where have you been?" he asked as a smirk found its way to his face

"Leave me alone b*tch" I snorted before walking away

"Mick Nathaniel Marvel, get your ass out here" he shouted trying to prove some kind of authority

I just snubbed him and walked away after which I walked into my room and fell on my bed getting trapped in a deep slumber.
