To my dismay, Tom seemed to burn a hole through the side of my skull the entire way to the airport. I knew that he figured out the reason as to why I wanted to leave so quickly, but I didn't care. I guess I just was not able to face the mess that I had left behind. Such a selfish thing really. The flight was long and the window had a sheen of blue outside of it, endless water. It was beautiful this time of the morning, when the sun hid and the moon still glowed, turning it a deep navy-purple color. The day was going to be a cloudy one, my favorite. As we stopped in Florida before continuing to California, the air was humid and dense when I took a breath.

The plane took back off, Tom still had said nothing. I hated how it seemed the only way we talked was in emotional outbursts. I sighed and propped my head on my hand to stare out the window. I fell asleep until a soft touch woke me up, Tom had done it and jerked his head towards the door telling me it was time to go. We grabbed our bags and returned to a hotel where Tom did all the talking. My mind wandered about the show I was going to audition for, it seemed to be intriguing. Once we got to the top of the stairs, Tom led me to the door and we put our things away.

"I have a dinner tonight to meet some important people about a one-episode appearance for you, " Tom said in a monotone voice. " I got a dress for you, go put it on hyou have an hour to get ready." Tom left the room to go do something I hadn't bothered to ask about. The dress was exactly my type, I smiled as I didn't occur to me how well Tom actually knew me,

I slipped on the dress and decided to put my hair high ponytail with curls around my face. I put on some dark eyeliner that made my green eyes pop, with pentagram earings for some personality. I grabbed my purse just as I heard Tom knocking to come get me. I grabbed some lace-up heels and opened the door, Tom slowly smiled as I put my shoes on.

"What? I think I look ok. Unless I don't, then I can go change." I said nervously.

"No you look great, you clean up nicely." Tom said chuckleing, he pu his arm out, offering it to me. I put my arm on his and smiled smally.

"I'm sorry ive been such a pain lately. I just needed to get out of there, I don't think I could stand seeing Aidan again after what he did to me with Zenna." I said, watching his face for emotion. He smiled in sympathy and nodded, letting us walk the short way to the lobby in silence.

"It's for a show called Supernatural, by the way. Monsters and angels, that kind of stuff I know you would like," Tom said after we had just left the restaurant. "and I get it, just know you can talk to me about this stuff. That's what brothers are for, no?" I laughed in agreement, Tom was an easy listener. I put my head on his shoulder and he patted my hair.

"You're going to mess it up!" I squealed in enjoyment, Tom laughed.

"That's also what brothers are for." Tom said with a grin. I took a deep breath as we walked into the building and decided to be excited to meet my maybe future co-workers.
