The restaurant was much too fancy for my taste, I like to think of myself as easy to please. Tom held open the door as we walked inside, the room was decorated in a champagne and red color scheme. A dangling chandelier made its mark in the middle of the ceiling. Tom led me to the small podium where a teenage boy stood.

"We are with the Singers, I'm Tom and this is Astrid." He said vaguely gesturing in my direction. The boy nodded and walked towards the back with Tom and me in tow. We passed the other tables as my mind drifted to other thoughts about home. I wonder if Aidan had even noticed that I was gone. Alayna was most likely losing her mind not knowing where I was, I frowned. I should tell her, I started to reach in the front of my dress to pull my phone out. We had stopped at a table with four other men when I noticed the boy staring at my hand, moving towards my chest. My hand hovered by the neckline, what a pervert.

"Would you mind not staring so much? It can make people very uncomfortable." One of the men at the table spoke out. I sighed a quiet thank you as the boy flushed and rushed out. I walked over and sat down at the table, right as they started to introduce themselves.

"My name is Jared and this is Misha" He waved at the shortest one at the table with a blue tie, "This one is Jensen" He smiled and waved to the one with blondish hair and a red tie, "And this is our producer, Robert." Once Jared finished Robert reached his hand over to shake mine. I glanced around the circular table one more time, Misha caught my eye and smiled warmly. I hopped I returned it properly and tried uselessly to pay attention as the boys talked about the logistics of my audition. Soon a waiter came back to take the orders of everyone, I got a lemonade and Tom got a small glass of champagne. Jensen, who was on my right side, while Tom was on my left, bumped my arm to get my attention.

"So, what made you want to come on our show?" He asked politely. I thought for a minute, it would be fun to have the fight scenes and to ride in their infamous impala.

"Well, I enjoy old cars and have an interest in learning stage fighting." I said in return. Jensen nodded and took a drink. He set the cup down and continued.

"Stage fighting means learning how to take me or Jared down, think you're up for that?" He smiling a little under his breath.

"Hell yes." I grinned back, saying it a little too loudly, my eyes went wide as I realized that Tom heard me. I looked to the other side and saw Jensen and Jared laughing and Tom with eh death stare.

"It's nice to have a beautiful lady who isn't too perfectly proper." Misha laughed along with them. My face flushed a little with there laughs but soon I was smiling with everyone.

After the food arrived, we talked for a few more hours about the show. They told me there was another main actor named Alex, sadly he couldn't make it but I would meet him later. I stopped for a moment to think.

"Does that mean I go the part?" I asked, wondering how else I would meet him.

"I think that you would be a great fit." Robert smiled. I beamed and felt truly happy for the first time since Aidan came from the airport.

"Thank you." I said, standing up with Tom and the others. Tom reached for the bill but Robert stopped him.

"The show's treat." He winked. We said goodbye and left the restaurant. Tom didn't say anything on the walk back to the hotel but we were both smiling. I ran into the bathroom to change and put on my favorite hoodie and some soft shorts. I walked out and sat down on the bed with Tom. He was wearing a gray hoodie and joggers, his hair was getting long enough that it fell slightly into his eyes. He turned on the T.V. and ruffled my hair.

"I knew you'd do great. It was only a matter of time before you would find your part." Tom smiled, still staring at the screen. I buried my head into the hoodie and smiled, Maybe this wouldn't be all that bad.
