A horrible horrible sound of an alarm rang in my ear. Keeping my eyes shut, one of my arms flung its self out from under the blanket, deciding to be the sacrifice, and started slapping every object it could find to stop the sound. A giggle from the other side of the room made its way to my ears. The feeling of a frown forming on my face just begged me to open my eyes, which I did. My hazel eyes scanned the room and landed on Zoe. She wore her usual attire. Her brown hair thrown in a bun, a pink tank top, and some ripped blue jeans that complimented her tan boots. "Get up sleepy head." Zoe said, turning to look into the mirror that was hanging from our door. I slowly slid out of bed and walked over to the dresser only to dig through my clothes. I decided on a red flannel shirt, some black skinny jeans, and my black boots. Hurrying to put them on, I clenched my teeth together at the sight of my phone lighting up from someone texting me. The black boots that I had chose to put on weren't exactly agreeing with me today. After a good amount of minutes that were spent trying to get the last boot on, I finally got it. Zoe laughed at me as she looked up from her phone. She sat peacefully on her photon, waiting. At least she waited. I did a little hop, to steady myself out and then took my phone off the charger. Not bothering to glance at who texted me, I shoved the phone in my pocket and grabbed my black cowgirl hat.

"Let's go." I said, already opening the door.

Zoe and I walked through the crowd of people to the furthest building that was planted beside the barn. Excitement steamed off of us. It wasn't only because we got a new instructor, it was because we could finally get our horse. Since we were little kids, we've all been wanting to hurry up and get to the day we get our horse. Zoe and I were just so close!

"Who do you think the instructor will be?" Zoe asked as she walked beside me. My eyes were on the barn.

"Who knows. Maybe Mrs. Addison or Mr. Carter." I said, beginning to look at the people that were standing in front of our new section building.

"Mr. Carter was a great teacher!" Zoe exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air. This made me giggle.

"Everyone knows you have a crush on Mr. Carter you nasty." Said Trey, coming up behind us. Hearing him made me jump a little and move to the side so he could walk between us girls. Trey was another one of the few blondes with blue eyes. His hair was just a really REALLY light blonde. Trey threw me a smile and gently elbowed me. I rolled my eyes and then once again studied the new classmates I'd have.

"Can you blame me? He's so cuuute!!" Zoe laughed, drawing out the last word.

"Yeah, he's also 27. Can someone say pedofile?" Trey said, a little attitude in his voice showed up.

"C'mon guys," I said, turning around to where I was now walking backwards but also walking in front of them. "let's calm ourselves down and be happy! Today is a new day and we have SO much shit that's about to be planted on us."

"Probably literally." Trey scoffed, looking down to make sure his black and white plaid shirt was tucked into his black jeans.

All three of us came to a stop in front of our section building and looked around, as if our new teacher would come out of nowhere and open the doors to our new classroom, which we knew we wouldn't exactly be using very much. The three of us faced each other and sighed at the same time. "I can't wait!" Zoe said, doing a little hop. Trey raised his eyebrows.

"Has it ever occurred to you that maybe our new teacher will be a woman? A hot one at that?" Zoe and I looked at each other before bursting out into laughter.

"No, that'll never happen. Most of the teachers we have are men. That's not entirely sexist right?" I asked, looking at both of them. They shrugged.
