Blythe's POV

Rain started pouring outside. May mangilan ngilan na taong nagtakbuhan para makisilong sa mga establishmento habang ang ilan ay nanatiling walang pakialam kung mabasa man sila.

At heto ako, safe sa loob ng kotse ni Gaia mula sa papalakas na buhos ng ulan. Pero yung mga iniisip ko, lulunurin na ata ako.

A while ago...

I moved my lips to urge her to kiss me back. She did not disappoint me because after a while, we're sharing a hot passionate make out session in this 'actually' public place except there's no public to see us.

I kissed her the way she kissed me the night of the party. I nibbled the corners of her mouth and she does the same. Her hands were on my nape to deepen the kiss while mine were on her waist to keep her close. She tasted so fucking sweet and yet... And yet it does not feel the same. Like it's not right for me to do this because it's. Not. Just. The. Same.

I tried to recall the way she moved that night. Her towering presence should feel overwhelming but now she's just warm and not enough to throw me off my senses. I traced the outline of her lips telling her to open her mouth. She did and I invaded. I sucked her tongue for the heck of it and her moans were heaven... if it wasn't for the memory I recall that her voice is not the same. We slowed down and before I knew it, we were both catching our breaths while we look into each other's eyes, still dark from what happened. I burried my face on her neck and inhaled her scent.

Vanilla... Holy fucking shit...

That gave it away and it was when I found out that it wasn't her. It was never Gaia.

Bumalik lamang ako sa realidad nang makarinig ako ng mga salita. "Ma'am nandito na po tayo."

"Huh?" Nilibot ko ang tingin. Nasa loob na kami ng Mirage. I gave Gaia's driver the direction because eventually, driver lang pala siya ni Gaia sa metro at hindi nito alam ang pasikot sikot sa village.

"Salamat po," paalam ko sa kanya. Bumaba ako ng kotse at tinakbo ang gate dahil malakas pa rin ang ulan.

"Where have you been?" Night is descending the stairs. "Bakit basa ka?"

Hinubad ko ang leather jacket ko. Inabutan naman ako ng isa naming kasambahay ng towel. "Out. At basa ako dahil umuulan." I dried myself at dumiretso sa kusina. Naramdaman ko ang pagsunod ni Night sa akin.

"I thought you're moving out today?"

"I thought so, too. Pero may... inasikaso lang." I opened the fridge and look for something to eat. Girl needs food dahil iniwan ako sa ere ng ka-date ko na hindi man lang ako pinapakain.

Di bale, naka score ka naman.

But actually, now that I found out it wasn't her that night, parang may nag-iba. All this time ba ay nababaliw lang ako kay Gaia dahil sa pag aakalang siya iyong taong humalik sa akin noong gabing yun? I was so sure that it was her so it made me crave for her attention. But now that I realized that I thought different, nabawasan na nga ba yung dapat na pagtingin ko sa kanya? I am holding that moment for her. But it turns out it wasn't her. So, does that mean I've been liking the wrong person all this time?

"Close the fridge. Nagsasayang ka lang ng kuryente." Night's voice pulled me back to reality.

Kinuha ko iyong left over pizza at isang tetra pack ng juice. "Gutom na gutom na ako!"
