(The picture is what you're wearing. Obviously you can change the colors or change the outfit completely!)

Nervously, I paced around the deck of the boat I was currently situated on. Here I was on my way to Camp Wawanakwa to compete in the newest reality TV show, Total Drama Island. A few of my friends had dared me to enter, but I didn't think I'd actually make it into the show! I didn't even WANT to be here, especially not on national television, but I could never back down from a dare.

Finally after several more minutes, the island, as well as the dock, began to come into view. As the boat croaked to a stop, I gathered my few belongings before hopping off onto the pier and smoothing out the non-existing wrinkles from my pants.

"Our next contestant is (Y/n)! Welcome to the island." The host flashed me a dazzling, red carpet ready smile while gesturing to the group of already present contestants.

Offering a small smile and a hasty wave, I made my way over to the group and stood next to a girl who looked similar to myself.

"Hey, I'm Gwen." She smiled as I returned the gesture.

"(Y/n), but you already knew that." I chuckled softly.

Several more contestants arrived as Gwen and I made small talk before my attention was ripped away from the conversation. Now fixated on the new arrival, she walked over and greeted everyone while swinging her surfboard around leading us to dodge it, myself included.

"Okay, we've all met surfer girl, can we get on with the show please?" A bratty girl questioned, a rude sneer etched onto her face.

"Someone missed their double cappuccino macchiato this morning."

Giggling, I was met with teal eyes belonging to a boy with a green mo-hawk, who smirked back.

"Get bent." She scoffed, sending both of us glares.

The next contestant rendered more entertaining banter from the punk teen and I was finding it difficult to stifle the giggles, which he seemed to notice as he sent a wink my way.

After many more funny and annoying introductions, with snarky commentary to boot, it was time to take a group picture. Chris ushered us to one side and I found myself sitting next to Courtney.

"Okay one, two, thre-oop, forgot the lens cap. Okay, hold that pose. One tw-oh, no wait, card's full, hang on." He said, a cheeky grin plastered on his face. This was not going to end well.

"Come on man, my face is starting to freeze."

I glanced over at LeShawna before resuming my pose.

"Got it! Okay everyone say 'Wawanakwa'!"

Everyone chanted as the dock cracked and burst under our combined weight. Yup, I knew it.

"Okay guys. Dry off and meet at the campfire pit in ten!"

Really? Ten minutes? There is no way ANY of us are drying off that quickly! I couldn't help myself and let out a huff.

"What's the matter, princess? Things not going your way?" My (e/c) orbs were greeted with an extended hand and a smirk from the pierced up teen. Glancing away I blushed, accepting his hand as he pulled me up.

"Thanks, uh?" I shyly prompted, still not knowing his name.

"Duncan, but you can call me whatever you want sweetheart." He sent another wink my way as we headed to the campfire pit.

Once everyone had arrived and was seated, Chris began to explain some of the basics before Duncan walked up.

"'Scuse me, what will the sleeping arrangements be? Because I'd like to request a bunk under her." He smirked while gesturing to me. My cheeks flushed bright red as I looked to our host with wide eyes.

"They're not co-ed, are they?" The snobby girl from before questioned, worry evident in both her voice and on her face.

After re-assuring both her and myself, I tuned out until he began to name off the teams. I found myself in the Killer Bass along with...

"Hey gorgeous, looks like we're on a team together."

"S-so it would seem." I whispered back to the misfit.

CONFESSIONALS  (only doing these for the reader and occasionally Duncan)

(Y/n)

How could he flirt so shamelessly? I swear, he's going to be the death of me!

END CONFESSIONAL

I found myself in the cabin shortly afterwards and I was upset that the only female friend I had managed to make thus far was on the other team. Looking around at the other girls, I felt myself slowly becoming isolated. None of these other girls were anything like me and I knew I would end up being the outcast.

"Hey, (Y/n) right?"

I snapped out of my reverie to notice the surfer girl from before and smiled. "That's me."

"You can bunk with me if you want."

"Really?" I had to admit I was a little shocked.

"Definitely! You want top?"

I nodded before tossing my bag onto my bed.

"We should start heading over." Nodding once more, we left the cabin and headed towards the mess hall.

Following Chef's speech and snide comments from the other campers, I sat next to Bridgette seeing as how I didn't know how I felt about Duncan yet.

"Welcome to the main lodge." We all turned to watch Chris stride into the building.

"Yo, my man, can we order a pizza?" Not a moment later a butchers knife was launched at Geoff before burying itself into the wall.

"Woahwoahwoah! It's cool G! Brown slop is cool! Right guys?" He nervously chuckled as we all joined in.

"Your first challenge begins...in one hour!" And with that, Chris left just as quickly as he had appeared. I began to poke at my food, if I can even call it that, while the other members of my team began to talk among themselves. Some pondered the possibilities, while others made an attempt to eat like myself. My eyes wandered before landing on Duncan once more who seemed to feel my gaze. Our eyes met for what felt like the hundredth time that day. I offered a small smile before he did the same. Maybe this camp won't be so bad after all.

"It's our first challenge, how hard can it be?"

Oh how wrong you were DJ, how wrong you were.

Next thing we knew, we were all situated at the top of a ridiculously high cliff, clad only in our bathing suits. I don't like where this is going.
