LiFaLon This is one of the coolest kind of music I've heard. Is there a meaning behind the lyrics? I think my favorite genres are Alternative House, Hip Hop, Traditional (my grandmother would kill me if I didn't say this was my favorite) and Rap (my great grandmother loves Rap. She says her hearing is so bad and they're talking so fast that it makes her good that she can't hear what their saying) 😂🤷🏻♀️
D_White Yeah, so it fits to multiple situations, but it's basically describing that when the sun comes up the stressors, the mistakes and hurt all go away because it's a new day. One of my fellow members broke up with his girlfriend and that's where the spark of ideas came from. He felt like he was down and out, mentally dead and the concept of a new day and new chance revived him.

D_White Um, we tried to play senior year and Fairy Godmother was very strict on the fact that our music isn't "wholesome and preparatory appropriate" (whatever that means). As if the DJ didn't play explicit versions of every song. 🙄

TheFairestQueen 70s music wasn't the only problem, @D_White. The real problem back then was the fashion. I can guarantee that everyone had to be into #420 before it was a thing. What else would have caused ppl to where extremely flared pants and "groovy" prints... they sure were PSYCOdelic.
LiFaLon Personally, I liked the 90s. Bright colors, hip hop was super popular... I was born in '98... so I didn't get to experience most of that era, but it seemed awesome.

AudreyRose Grammy is always so stuck on her 1950s music. She's always like it was the most wholesome era, aside from the whole Maleficent thing. She has a way of bringing that up in any conversation. I guess it really shaped her past.

It's telling the story of how we all sometimes feel when we're down and out about a challenge. In this case, specifically a break up. Meaningful lyrics. @D_White
