Eavesdropping was wrong in any normal situation, but what The Thirteen Colonies was planning to do felt like a betrayal of some kind.. then again, It's not as if he didn't normally stick his nose into business that's not his own. To make sure they didn't catch on, the boy waited a good half a minute after the union and the country left to speak with The Northern Colonies before he carefully looked around.

Aside from spotting Wales sleepily passing the doorway with his coffee ((The guy works night shifts, seeing him out about about during the day was considered a rarity)), there was no one in sight to see him being a sketchy tail. Aussie was likely mopping in his room, and New Zealand was almost always on that little chrome-book.. Kid barely had any friends.

"'Ight.. Let's see what the tea is this time.." He said to himself with a smirk, pocketing his phone and pushing up off the couch, following the path through the large house that most took to get to the back -- which would be the most direct, with two or three required turns minimum down the main halls.

He kept his pace brisk but quiet, being careful not to turn into a room or hallway until after his fathers had moved onto the next block, they were quietly conversing as they went, voices hushed to the point of near secrecy.. Which only served to peak the childs curiosity even more

They definitely had something to hide..

Who was he kidding? Those two always had something to hide- Of course, this was more of an observation than a proven fact.. the multi-colony had a certain bias for England and the UK, he wasn't going to ignore his gut feeling.

It felt like ages before he was able to approach the door to the garden, and hen he did he was careful to peek out the nearby windows to ensure that he wouldn't be spotted right away.

Finally! The young colony grinning triumphantly before scampering back to the door and carefully cracking it open to slip out into the garden. It was a big place, lots of trees, hedges, carefully trimmed flower bushes and shrubs.. Everything you'd expect from the British Isles.

Fortunately enough for our little spy, the door was oiled quite regularly, and didn't make a sound as he closed it behind him with an exception from the soft click that came from the knob. From there is was easy to navigate around the garden without getting spotted, the place was structured like a large, but stuffy park. Full of life, and easy to take cover in.. Harder to keep quiet though, will all the brush you could accidentally rustle.

Thirteen made due, and eventually found himself crouching behind a single wall of leaves that blocked him off from view of any of the three other occupants of the little maze, the only problem was they they weren't saying anything. Without a way to get a glance at what might be happening, the boy was left to assume that things had fallen into some kind of awkward silenced of some kind.

"North.. We need to talk to you about what happened." It was England that broke the ice, voice still quiet, he was speaking gently, yet in that tone of voice that said he was dead serious, and did not intend to negotiate when this conversation was happening.

That's not what piqued the older boys curiosity though.. What happened?

"Yeah, we do." The Northern colonies stated sharply, it was obvious his earlier bad mood was still present, which was odd, because normally his brother was incredibly quick to forgive. This only served to press more questions to the forefront of Thirteens mind.

A tired sigh, the UK's signature move, "Well, first off, you shouldn't be listening into conversations like that." Holy crap! Thirteen tensed, getting ready to pop his head out to ask how they knew already -- but then the union continued to speak, "Just because your brother makes a habit of it, doesn't mean you should take to it as well." Oh. Thank the lord.. His heart was still racing uncontrollably because he swore he almost just got caught, he hardly noted the fact that they were well aware of his stalking.. He should probably work on that, after all if you wanted to hunt down drama for the memes, you had to be good at it, and obviously Thirteen wasn't quite as cut out as he thought he was.
