Logan shook me awake by the shoulder. "We're here."

     Let's do this

I stood up and grabbed my parachute and got adjusted, before standing by the back door. Patton activated the exit, and the door slowly opened. I simply turned around and gave the two a small salute, receiving one from each, then jumped out of the aircraft backwards, practically diving, before correcting my position into a flat star. I checked my altitude meter, and deployed my parachute at around 900 feet, slowing my fall.

Once my feet touched the ground, I unlatched and jogged towards the base. Then, when  the front was in view, I unsheathed my sword, not yet bothering to touch my shield. I slowed down and started walking slowly. There was a gate soon in front of me, blocking my path.

"Anything yet?" Patton, spoke over the com in my wrist. I lifted my arm and responded.

"There's a gate, but nothing above it. No guards, no shield."

"Well then fly over it." Logan suggested. Just when he finished, the speaker on the side of the gate spoke.

"Who's there?" I took a deep breath and walked closer to the intercom.

     "Umm Roman..?" I spoke hesitantly.

"Ahh. I've been expecting you. Come on in." And just after, the gates opened.

     "What happened?" Patton questioned.

"The gates opened. Stay quiet, wait for my signal incase of an emergency." And with that, I put my com system on silent, passing through the gates. Standing before me, was an elegant white mansion

Just as I approached the front, the door opened, and Deceit stepped outside

Just as I approached the front, the door opened, and Deceit stepped outside. "Welcome, my dear, step inside would you? And please, put away the sword." I only raised my sword in a cautious response.

"How do I knowing this isn't a trick?" He chuckled.

"You don't." He extended his hand. "You just have to trust me." My face twisted into a visible confusion, but I decided to put my sword away, and hesitantly put my hand on his. He grasped it gently, and turned around, leading me into the house. The door closed automatically behind us, and we walked through the foyer, which was nicely decorated with a high ceiling, chandelier, a complex rug, and a long table on the side wall, holding a bowl of fruit.

After, we turned to the left, and went into the kitchen, this is when Deceit unclasped my hand, and walked towards a wine cooler, next to the fridge. "Care for a glass of sangria?" He posed the question, turning to me, holding a bottle of wine. I shouldn't, I'm on a mission god damnit. however...

"Uh sure." I responded, in which he grabbed two glasses and set them on the counter, cutting up fruit. "Why did you give me your address?"
