As time flew by, Diana grew up. She stopped self-harming, and learnt to love herself. Soon she was an adult, and got married and had kids.
One Direction faded as the years went by. But of course there were many who still remember them.
It was a Monday evening when Diana was driving her children home from school, while listening to the radio. After a few songs, Diana recognized the intro of "Diana" playing on the radio. She soon thought of all the times when she was younger and when one direction was there for her. A tear streamed down her face and she quickly wiped it away before her children noticed.
"Mommy, awr yoo ohwkay?" her one year old daughter asked her.
"Yeah Mommy, why are you crying?" her five year old son asks.
"Mum, you alright?" her eleven year old son asks with concern.
"Yeah kids. I'm fine." she says after a moment.
That night, she thought of how one direction was such a big part of her life. And she may not even be here without them. Closing her eyes, she pictured the concert where the boys first played Diana. That was one of the many greatest moments of her life, others included meeting them, her heroes, in person.
Because of five boys, she understood what happiness is. And what it is like to be loved.
Those five boys are One Direction.
