The Heist

Chapter 1

It was a morning in 3/1/2005 9am a couple of days after New Years where a man in a rundown apartment slept with a half empty bottle of whisky in his hand. He had been sleeping since 1/1/2005 3am. He had a large bruise on his head, seeming that he had been in a fight or he didn’t see the protruding coat hook at his front door. The half drunk whisky bottle suggests that he had passed out from drinking and from lack of sleep he would wake with an enormous head ache from both the bruise and a serious hangover. 

His name was James he was poor, lived in an apartment in the slum area of New York and in just about 6 hours he would be the most wanted man in New York for killing Simon Timely, a Multimillionaire and also his boss. He woke with a massive groan his vision was hazy but he could clearly see the clock on the wall it was 9:30am he was 2 days and 30mins late for work his head suddenly getting more clear he sprung up from his couch and rushed into his bedroom and got dressed for his work. He worked at multimillion dollar company that designs and releases computers and software and he was in charge of the new design of computers The Core and its new design of gaming computers to be released in a years time he however had been experiencing alot of cuts so he could not bring the project to its full potential, he is late for a meeting which will have discussed the budget cuts and allowed more money for the project but every minute he was late he would have less of a chance of getting more money for the core project.

He arrived at a large building the front court yard was large with trees and plants everywhere, there were multiple benches circling around a water fountain with a chrome globe in the middle of a water fountain the building had the name Timely Tech on the front of the building. Inside was very royal polished marble floors, all levels had an open ceiling allowing view to the skylight on the top of the building, the first 5 floors were for meetings resting areas, the next 5 were large offices and labs for the design and testing of the new software and computers and the top floor was Mr Timely’s office and a large meeting room he was to meet Mr Timely in his office to discuss more funding toward the CORE computers he rushed into his office Mr timely stood there, He was a medium built man, he had a crew cut style brown hair he wore a charcoal grey suit with a striped red necktie and a fancy silver Rolex on his left hand He began the conversation with “take a seat”.
