prologue

We got done preforming our new song Boom so our managers started getting us all ready to leave. The one female manager that has been paying most of her attention to Jeno was walking closely with him as he talked with Chenle. 

We walked out of the building into a slight mist. Our one manager stopped me from getting into the van taking my spot next to Jeno and said to get in the other van before that one drove away. 

I stood in the middle of the parking lot calling our other managers and my bandmates but no one picked up. I felt the panic rising in my chest. I thought about the drive here and that it wasn't too long so I should be able to walk back to the company for monthly weigh-ins.

Those don't start until about 2 so I should have enough time to get there. I started walking and as I was a few blocks away it started to rain slightly. I walked farther without an umbrella and got colder as we walked. The farther I walked the heavier the rain came down.

I could barely hear anything around me. I could barely see more than a few feet ahead of me.  I continued walking not really knowing where I was going anymore. 

Jeno*Van # 1

I looked behind me at where Chenle and Heachan were sitting. I looked to my side to where Renjun said he was going to sit but noticed it was our annoying lady manager that doesn't know how to keep her hands to herself.

Renjun must be in the other van with Jisung and Jaemin. 

Jaemin*Van # 2

I got in the van last and had a seat empty next to me. One of our managers was in the backseat with Jisung making me sit by myself. I heard from Renjun that he would sit in here if there was no room in Jeno's van.

I'm guessing there was room since I'm all alone right now. Jisung was sitting in the back with headphones on but I could tell no music was going into his ears.

The 10-minute drive back to the company building ended and we all walked to our practice room for weigh-ins. 

I looked around and didn't see Renjun. He must have gone to the bathroom. I sat next to Jeno against the glass as we waited for 2 pm to roll around. 

It had been 10 minutes since we got here and no Renjun. I looked up from my phone and saw Jeno looking around worried.

"Was Renjun in your van, "I asked, curious if he was worried the same way I was. 

"Wasn't he in your van," he asked looking more worried and more confused. 

"No it was only Jisung and me, "I said.

"Then where is Renjun," he asked. We looked at each other with horror-filled eyes and ran to the head manager standing in the hallway talking with other staff.

"Renjun's missing," we said as calm as we could. 

"What do you mean? Isn't he in the room with you guys," he asked turning away from the 3 other staff members.

He looked back at them as they whispered to each other and pulled us gently by the arm into his office. 

"He wasn't in either of the vans after the show but none of us knew that, "I said. 

"Okay, I'm going to call 119 and tell the boss," he said, "Go back to the practice room and tell the others for me please," he then walked out of his office and to the elevator holding his phone to his ear. 

We walked to the practice room and gathered the other members closer."Hey Hyung, where's Renjun hyung, "Chenle asked.

"That's the thing, no one knows, "Jeno said.

"But but we were just with him, "Jisung said surprised.

"Didn't the female manager tell him to go to the other van taking his seat, "Haechan asked.

"Really I didn't notice that, "Chenle asked surprised at what Donghyuk said. 

"I thought that Jaemin and Jisung left before us, "Jeno said.

"They did, so he might still be at the music show," Chenle said getting slightly happier. Jeno pulled out his phone and dialed Renjun but the call went strat to voicemail. We all took a turn calling him but they all went to voicemail.

"What if something bad happened to him, "Jisung asked as small tears fell from his eyes. I pulled him to my chest and comforted the maknae saying Renjun was going to be safe not even knowing if that was true myself.

Okay so the recent events that have happened with SM have pissed me off so I am writing a book to express it. the things mentioned in this book in the warning section can be triggering for some readers I will try to put warnings on the chapter of where the most triggering scenes are(where the start and end) please read warning

the only portion of this story that is real is the very start where renjun is lost, he did find his van and was mostly safe, he's given an 'explanation' which is very out of character for him, i don't really believe it, but that doesn't mean that it isn't true. this book is pure fiction based on a small event.
