As months went on the boy's love for one another became clear to many people, including fans. They encouraged the boys to come out if they were truly dating and spammed them with comforting messages.
They felt at ease with the fans. They went to Lee SooMan and told him. He surprisingly thought it would be good to come out to the fans. He told them they would get hate, they might lose fans, but it would build a new level of trust between them and the fans.
So the two boys sat in silence on V-Live together and waited for the fans to flood in. They sat completely still, no a muscle moving. No managers were present in the room and as 5,000 people joined they kissed.
Renjun sat next to Lucas with his head on the older's shoulder, and Lucas grabbed the younger's chin gently before they kissed. After that Renjun got up gave a small wave before turning the camera off and not saving the video.
It spread like wildfire, the short 15-second clip of the two boy's kissing. It was everywhere. Articles were up in 15 minutes and fans were surprised shocked even. They lost followers and fans and got hate but they trended with thousands of supporting fans and new fans.
They posted a picture of them on Instagram and asked that they got support and love. They asked that fans wouldn't like them just because they were dating, but because they liked them as a group and then for two weeks' silence out of the two.
Nothing, not a tweet, not a new picture, not a single v-live. No one spoke of them, it was as if the two had disappeared.
They had, they left South Korea and visited both of their families in China and spent a week with them each before going back to South Korea and going to the dorms again. Their families happily accepted them and showed the two support.
They sat in the dorm when the other members got home. They had been doing a V-Live with the older members as the two laid in the living room watching a movie. Enjoying each other's company and warmth.
Chenle jumped over the couch and snuggled into them and fell asleep as he hugged Renjun's small waist.
Everyone slowly moved out of the room and let the others sleep, but before that, Donghyuk pulled his phone out and got a picture. He posted it before he walked to the kitchen with Jisung and Mark.
As time went by, hate halted and no longer came in. Once Renjun debuted with WayV they saw a lot more of each other. They got so much closer, having the same schedules, and live in the same dorm.
Soon they got older and spent less time in the limelight and used it for one another and then they left. They left the limelight and were no longer Huang Renjun and Wong Lucas of NCT they were Huang Renjun and Wong Xuxi the couple, the soulmates, the everlasting friends.
The idol life became their past and they no longer worried about hate and stressful practices. They focused on one another, adopting a little boy as they moved to America. They rose him with gentleness and care.
They used their lives and each other to keep their family together. Love. Love was what kept the three boys together till death.
