"Oh yeah? Bet you can't guess what a penguin sounds like." Melanie laughed with Mikey, it had been a month since Mikey and Melanie began to hang out. They were out in the woods, climbing trees. "Is it a penguin or a dolphin? They both do the same things." Mikey giggled, sitting on a branch.
"They both eat fish, they both make weird sounds and they both have holes. Wait-" Melanie cackled out, giving Mikey giggly vibes. "You are dirty." Mikey giggled. "Who did you say we were meeting?" Mikey asked, carving into the tree with a pocket knife.
"My friends. Josh and Tyler. They're at my house! Let's go!" Melanie giggled, climbing down. Mikey chuckled and followed. As they ran towards the house, Mikey tripped into a goober hole in the ground. As he fell, he saw the old scars on his arms. Long and deep. His heart pumping, scared for what he'd done to his body before.
Thoughts running through his mind. Yeah right. Like you were fixed. Tsk, you're just nothing. Mother left because she's tired of worrying about you. Gerard probably wants you dead. The thoughts screamed at him. Mikey's mental breakdown stayed silent as he walked. His smile as no longer seen and his positivity running down. Melanie stopped skipping, turning around and holding his hand, rather softly.
"You know wanna something that makes you special?" Melanie whispered, attempting to brighten him up. "Sure." Mikey sighed, his face expressionless. "You see things that nobody else sees." Melanie whispered. "What do you mean?" Mikey raised an eyebrow.
Melanie bit her lip, trying not spoil anything in particular. "Don't worry about it. Just remember that." Melanie said, opening the door to the house. Mikey nodded, running with her to the room.
A boy with yellow hair, brown eyes and a beautiful smile looked at Mikey. Mikey felt no feelings, not even fear or anxiety. Mikey took no medication today.. he's gonna be lacking much emotions. "Hey, Mel! Is this the guy you told us about?" The yellow haired boy asked. "Yeah. His name is Mikey. Mikey, this is Josh. Tyler is in the restroom, I assume." Melanie said, walking towards the closet and rummaging through it.
"Yeah. He's breaking down and wants silence." Josh sighed and brushed the hair of one of the dolls. "Sometimes quiet is violent." Mikey commented under his breath. Josh nodded. "It's gonna rain soon. Why don't you stay the night?" Josh asked, crossing his legs. "I don't know. I'll call my brother and my friends." Mikey said, taking out his phone and contacting Gee, Ray and Frank.
Once they had arrived, Melanie, Josh and Tyler seemed to have left. Mikey hummed a tune he thought of, singing a main chorus. "D-O-L-L-H-O-U-S-E. I see things that nobody else sees." Mikey sang softly to himself. "Did you take your medication today, Mikey?" Gerard asked him, laying out his sleeping bag across the floor.
"What? Oh. Yeah." Mikey lied. Gerard nodded, turning on the TV. It wasn't long until they fell asleep, Mikey still awake, though. His migraine began to take over his mind, his mind then rushed to an unpleasant and hurtful place. "No, please.." he begged to himself, whispering aloud. It wasn't only a migraine, it was a heart burn. And a mental breakdown.
Mikey grabbed medication from his bag, slowly standing up. His legs shook in fear and pain, he walked out the room slowly and started taking pills. His whole hand was full of them, he then stated coughing. Holding onto his stomach, his legs became weak. Ray woke up.
Ray ran downstairs to Mikey, calling 911 when seeing how much medicine he took. It hadn't been long, the ambulance arrived, Gerard and Frank woke up. Gerard looked to see a doll with multi hair colors in front of him, hanging on a shoe string, meant as a noose. Frank gripped his hand and rushed with him downstairs, running out to the ambulance.
While driving to the hospital, Gerard had no idea of what was going on. Ray, was having a mental breakdown. Frank, holding Gerard in his arms. Gerard could only think of the doll he saw, and only think of how his brother is. He didn't panic because he was used to it, but inside he was more afraid than he had ever been before.
Gerard could snap. He could snap into reality and stop believing his brother is gonna be okay. But he didn't.
