"I wanna go home." You complained as you watched Mina inflate a pink floatie.

"It'll be fun! Once you get in the water you'll forget all about it!" She smiled.

You groaned and placed your hands on your face. Earlier, you had been greeted by a boy who looked way to prissy and also tried to flirt with you.

Obviously, you hadn't noticed he was hitting on you so you ended up thwarting all his attempts, pushing him off.

He had shouted at you, making a scene in the convenient store you were in before storming off, saying he'd kill you for daring to turn him down.

Que Mina laughing her ass off. Trying to look on the bright side, you stood up and followed your pink friend down to the water. It was a beautiful day, the slight breeze carried by the ocean to rush through your hair and the perfect temperature of the sun baking your skin made your mood rise.

To top it off, the beach itself wasn't crowded, just a few people scattered around to enjoy the day as you and Mina were.

You could hear yelling of someone on the lifeguard tower in what sounded like an argument but you paid it no mind as Mina had you hold onto her floatie and began spinning quickly.

The both of you laughed as you spun at a fast pace before slowing down. You were about to race to shore, you egging her on as you bounded through the water, the salty fluid falling from the tips of your hair and sinking from your chest to your waist as you went.

It was all fun until a forced wrapped around your waist and suddenly you were being pulled way from the shore into deeper water. You were confused as you got swept off your feet and carried away by whatever had a grip on you.

Your instincts kicked in faster than your brain could process the situation and your limbs flailed. Your eyes then locked on a figure not so far away from the shoreline, that same prissy dude from earlier, and he was watching with a smirk.

His threat rang through your head and suddenly became very real. You could hear Mina's concerned yell for you before your head dipped below the surface.

"If you think killing me is easy you got another thing coming!"

You thought before beginning to twist and thrash yourself around to loosen the grip. You were slightly successful, managing to break the waters surface again for another breath of air.

It wasn't long before you got pulled back under, you letting out a strangled shriek in the process. Another invisible force had gripped around your neck, making it harder to fight.

Your thoughts were going miles in seconds and not long after the need for air became more agonizing. Despite your frantic movements and trying to pry the things off, you couldn't, every muscle was weakening as air failed to reached them.

Mouth filled with water and head beginning to lighten, you couldn't so much as lift a finger as your strength was sapped away and your conciousness began to fade.

Then a new forced gripped onto your forearm and with a few rough tugs and forceful pushed against the invisible objects, you were released. You could barely process the lack of the waters weight on you and the light of the sun shining on your face as you were dragged away from your watery grave.

You had no idea how you were still slightly picking up these details but it seemed only your mind was active while your body fought to regain control of all your senses.
