You where sitting in the dorm common area as your classmates mingled around you, talking about the day.

The focus of your eyes was on a book about how light interacts with vision, something you hoped would help with your quirk. You subconsciously bit at the nail of your thumb as you thought.

Just then, Iida's loud voice called out, "Alright everyone! It's time to head to class!"

You closed your book and stood up, following the small group of classmates out.

"Today's training exercise is going to test your ability to fight and locate things without visibility, you will be paired in teams of four for this activity."

With that, you were all given the teams for the day, yours was Hagakure, Tokoyami, and Midoriya.

You all stood at the entrance of a pitch black room, your task being to collect a fake weapon from your enemies, the enemies being other classmates.

A shutter ran down your spine and your stomach twisted at the void that sat in front of you. You clenched your fists and your jaw in anticipation.

"Begin"

You breathed a shallow breath as you hesitantly followed your classmates into the dark. You couldn't see them, only heard the sound of their footsteps as they ran.

"Alright! I think we should split up!" Hagakure said making your stomach lurch.

"Right, Tokoyami go on ahead, your quirk works best in this situation, then the rest of us can-"

Just then lightning erupted from the darkness.

"Take that!"

"Kaminari!"

Fighting broke out between your group and the other. They kept trying to push you all away from the weapon area.

You couldn't see anything that was happening and ended up tripping over something, rolling down a slanted part of the floor.

A panicked cry came from you as you rolled away uncontrollably before coming to a stop.

"This sucks! I cant see a thing and now I dont know where I am!"

You sat up on your knees and looked around desperately, you could faintly hear the fighting from one direction.

Blinking widely to try and make out even the smallest light, you shuddered. Being in such total darkness brought up distressing memories.

You stood and heard something coming towards you. Instinctively, you whipped your head around to spot it, unsuccessfully.

"Not so strong without your eyes are you!" A familiar voice called triumphantly.

"Is that Ururaka?"

You leapt away quickly from her voice source as her footsteps echoed around you.

"Where is she!?"

Just then, five fingers pressed against your upper back. Your eyes widened.

"Gotchya!" She said.

Your feet left the ground and you let out a startled shout. Your disturbance in balance caused you to start spinning as you floated upward.

"Where the hell is the ceiling! Why cant I stop spinning! Why-Why does it have to be so dark!"

You had been trying to ignore it but the sudden heart pounding fear clutched your chest, making it tight as you frantically reached for something.

Anything solid to ground you back to your senses, but there was nothing. Not even Uraraka as she charged away to fight more, having gotten you out of the way.

"No! Please don't leave!"

Her footsteps only faded before you couldn't hear them anymore. You writhed and whirled around, still suspended somewhere above the ground but not quite high enough for the ceiling.

You repeated grabbed at the air around you in desperation. Your breathing speeded up and your skin crawled at the feeling of being watched, afraid some unknown creature would reach out and grab you.

The beating of your heart inside your chest was so intense you could almost mistake the sound of it for footsteps, or so you thought.

"Full cowling!"

A green flash and an arm wrapped around your waist along with a hand going over your eyes, forcing them shut.

"I just barely got past them! Hold on to me so you dont float away!" The calmingly familiar voice of Izuku called out.

You obediently wrapped your arms around his neck before he began running off, heading in a certain direction.

There was a bit of an uproar from behind you and you guessed the opposing team was heading to stop you both.

Suddenly, your vision came back to you as Kaminari lit up the space with a bit of his lightning, resulting in you both making eye contact.

"Crap!" He yelled as your quirk took effect.

The lightning vanished, taking what little light you had left to see from as Denki yelled about something.

"Its here!" Izuku suddenly spoke up.

"Huh?"

"The weapon!"

"Oh, what should I-"

Your hands were met with something cool and you could feel his hands around your wrist as he pulled you over his head, making you fly across the room, Ururaka's quirk still in effect on you.

"W-Wait!" You panicked and your back hit a metal support beam.

"Press the button!"

You couldn't even see it but you still fumbled across the support beam and along the wall until a part sank and blinking white lights came on.

"Hero team wins!"

Quirk- ability to put anyone you make eye contact with see vivid hallucinations of your choosing, side effect is in bright places it gives horrible headaches and eye pain while in darkness causes you to suffer same effects of quirk, although dulled.
