1st Magnitude star

UPDATE

Okay, first of all, you're probably wondering: what happened to this story and why haven't I updated in a year?

The answer is simple: I'm lazy

Actually, that's not all it, I've been busy with other things such as school and art. If you don't know, I'm not just a fanfiction writer, but an artist and I draw a lot. I've been planning on making an Instagram art account but never posted anything. Every time school starts I get a major art block because my mind is constantly stuffed with school things, and school is definitely more important than a wattpad account (sadly). Not that High school isn't fun, it is.

Now you're probably wondering: But it's summer right now, what have you been doing?

Other than being lazy, I finally decided to draw again and write as well. On my other account @PuleunPOP, I've created a new story that I've been... kind of updating on? I'm also studying languages and getting a summer job during the summer. 

One major factor of why I haven't been updating is interest changes. On my other stories on this account, people have been ushering me to update my stories that are years old. You don't think that one will like an anime forever right? Anyways, I've been indulging myself into Aikatsu again just so I can continue this story.

So what will happen with this story?

It will continue, but I will change most of the story. Also remember that I am writing another story as well and it will take longer to update but please be patient. 

The reason I decided to change the story '1st magnitude stars' is because of these reasons:

1) Poor character development

Actually, scratch that, Honoka can't even develop as a character if she doesn't even have a personality yet. For the longest time, I've only shown ONE side of Honoka, that is sarcastic and feisty, but I have yet to show her other side because I haven't decided yet. It's highly unrealistic for a character like Honoka to be ALWAYS distant and sassy, and there should be a reason why she is sharp-tongued and doesn't want friends, which leads to number 2.

2) Backstory

Currently, Honoka has no constant backstory. I've been planning her backstory but it always changes. All we know is that she comes from a poor family but I've been wanting to elaborate on it more. I want her backstory to explain why she is so cold and unapproachable. In the story, we can see that some people do approach her such as Yuuto, Usagi, and Hotaru, but most tend not to. I find that unrealistic so I will change this a bit.

3) Improving/adding more characters in the story

In the story, we see that Honoka kind of is an authoritarian person. She likes to order Emi and Usagi around at times, and kind of doesn't care about everyone else's opinion on her. While I re-edit, I want to add characters that actually intimidates her or have a higher authority than her. Honoka only acts aloof and ordering to her classmates her age, but towards her elders, she is actually very polite and respectful. Some of these characters that aren't intimidated by Honoka is Luka and Kimi.

 I also want a few characters who Honoka are protective and weak for, and she tries to act cool around them but is actually very protective of them. I'm thinking of maybe Usagi or Emi, not Hotaru though because she seems independent. These character(s) will probably open Honoka up to her true selves.

 4) Plot

There are a lot of plot holes in the story. We don't even know Honoka's true goal, other than being a shining star. We also don't know the other characters' goal so I've decided to try and make a working plot for the story.

A topic not regarding changes to the story is a love interest(s). I honestly don't know what to say about this, I don't think Honoka will get a love interest or a lover until she learns to discover herself. In a lot of stories, usually, the love interest warms the character up and teaches them to be truer to themselves, but in this case, I feel like Honoka will be closer to her friends than her love interest. 

I made a previous chapter called 'Character facts' for fun and I also created something called the 'Golden five', which were:

-Honoka 
-Usagi
-Hotaru
-Emi
-Luka

Now, I probably am going to change this list, and add a 'silver list'. The silver list is going to include supporting characters that are after the main characters. I'm not sure where is Naomi will be but she'll be in the story. The absence of the male student characters kind of irks me. We know that Four-star Academy also has a male campus, but we only ever see M4. I would like to add more male characters in the story too.

In conclusion, this story will be under 'reconstruction'. I will leave the current chapters up, but give me until August 20th? Or probably even earlier to rewrite all of this. Until next time
