Dark Hermione

Things must get worse

Hermione's Pov. 

'He is rotten and thinks he is better than anyone else. Stinking Ferret! I hate him! He thinks he knows it all when actually he is the loser! He cheats and is a liar and I hate him! He thinks he's so cool but all he does is run to daddy. Ooohhh I am so scared-

-'Ron please stop!' Ginny cries. 'We get it, you don't like him but can you give it a rest just for a moment?' 

Ginny and Ron begin to bicker so I pull Harry off to the side. 

'He really has a problem with Malfoy doesn't he?' I laugh. I hate speaking about my best friend like this but the façade is working. Draco and I struck a deal, at first everyone found it strange how a Slytherin was hanging around with Griffindors but after a while it stuck and people don't question it. Draco has to be nasty to me to keep up the façade. It hurts sometimes though and I wish it could stop. In a day time on Saturday we are going out together so I can show him that i care. 

'Yes. Although Malfoys father is nasty to his father. So you could sort of say it runs in the family' Harry said. So wise. So dreamy. What the hell ? 

'What about you? Have you ever wanted to be like Mr Malfoy and have power?' I ask. I hold my breath expectantly. 

'No. To be like that would be horrible.' Harry said honestly. 

'What about revenge for your parents death?' I ask. I take a quick look at Ginny and Ron who are still bickering.

'I would say no. But as your one of my close friends, I actually don't know. Some days I do some days I don't.' Harry said. 

'Well... You Know Who did it? Would you hurt his children?' I ask curiously. 

'I wouldn't blame them, but any offspring of his are Satan himself' Harry says. I open my mouth in shock. 

'Don't worry I would never hurt you. Your too kind to be an offspring of the person that murdered my parents. We should probably spilt those to up' Harry directed his head at a still bickering Ginny and Ron. I nod but am not really with it. He said he wouldn't but if Harry were to ever find out who I am he would hurt me. For an unknown reason that really hurts. I don't even know why.

'Hermione, after charms can we go to the lake and speak please?' Ginny whispered during charms. I nod then she turns away. I sigh. I hope no more gossipy girl talk. I have had enough of that. Draco does enough. It drives me insane. 

'So what is it?' I say sitting down beside her at the lake 20 minutes later. 

'I like someone.' She says nervously and twiddle her feet. I hold the urge to roll my eyes, she always likes someone.

'This is uh... Harder then normal to sort out. You have taught me that not all Slytherins are bad and so... I uh.. Like a slytherin' Ginny said. I taught her that not all Slytherins are bad. The irony is real. 

'Who?' I ask. It's probably Blaise I mean he does have the reputation of being an actual sex god. Funny really. He is hot though. 

'Draco Malfoy...' Her words almost choke me. Red head filth likes my cousin? Ewww if heaven forbid that happens then we would be related? I don't know how it works but that sounds horrible! 

'I uh..' 

'I know it's a lot to take in. But their is so much about him I like, the way he flexes his arms-

Ewww I didn't need to know this about my cousin. It's disgusting!! 

-' So what will you do about it then Ginny?' I cut her off. 

' Well, your a Slytherin, drop in some hints for me? Pretty please?' she begs and I try not to gag. 

'Yeah, sure fine.' No need to drop the façade now.

'Draco!' 

'Hermione!' 

We crush each other in a hug and sit down at a table. 

'You clean up nice.' Draco says jokingly and I laugh. 

'I know cousin, I know. By the way ya know red head, Ginny?' I ask stirring around my drink. 

'How could I forget she is in my best mates bed more or less most nights. Blaise loves to give it to her and I quote "roughly from behind"' Draco says. 

I burst out laughing. Of course.

'Well she claims elaborate fine feeling for you!' I say studying Draco's reaction. 

'No! That can't be true! I am nothing but an idiot to her!' Draco laughs.

'Yup. You wanted to join in right? Gain Weasleys trust, claim you love her and make her regret she ever heard your name' I say an evil plan already forming in my mind. 

'Nice. Will do. Anything for you cuz.' 

We laugh together when suddenly a loud booming voice stops us. 

'Traitor! I knew it. Friends with Malfoy all along' Ronald Weasley gets in my way every time I swear. Draco looked at me awkwardly and I gave him a look which clearly told him to let me handle it. Ginny walks out the shop after shaking her head slightly and thankfully Harry isn't with them. Draco can deal with Ron. Frankly I don't care what happens. But I can't loose Ginny now. I run after her sending an apologetic look to Draco. I can make it up to him later.

A/N: I think so far Hermione is quite a selfish character. She won't be by the end but I have created her this way because of the romance that will bloom between her and Harry. This will teach dark Hermione to value friendships and relationships and that her father isn't always right. She will mature as a character and she wi get a good ending. Same with Draco. Do you think that he should actually fall for Ginny or he stay WITH hermione's plan of using her and hurting her? Comment your opinion below!
