A/N: So this is the epilogue. I understand it may not be suited for everyone's liking but this is how I would imagine it all playing out.

1 Year later

Hermiones Pov

'It is rare that everyone meets together.' I say. Harry and I are walking around the Potter Manor. As it turns out, Harrys parents had owned Potter Manor but during the beginning of the wizarding war they moved to a safe house to keep young Harry safe.

The Manor had been forgotten about and it wasn't until Dobby who is Harry's elf mentioned that they could just live in Potter Manor, that it was found again.

The battle that had taken place about a year ago, left me an orphan. My immediate family was now dead. Any properties or valuables that my father had was taken away and I was deemed a traitor by any of the death eaters that had survived.

Most were caught but there were a few who hadn't turned up on the day of the battle or just managed to escape. The very small handful of them have gone into hiding and haven't been seen since.

Sirius Black was kind enough to offer me a place to stay for a few weeks until I got back on my feet, but fate wasn't kind and things only went down hill from there.

Harry became my rock; After the battle initially things were tense between us, but we worked it all out. A month later Harry had asked me to be his official girlfriend.

I squeeze Harry's hand at the memory. Harry looks at me and places a kiss on my forehead as we move through the gardens together.

A few months ago in June, Harry asked me to move in with him. We practically lived together in Sirius's house anyway, but this would be just us.

I sigh and lean into Harry. 'I wish it would happen more often.' I say as Harry nods. I look at his face closely and it appears Harry is caught up in his thoughts too.

We walk in silence just admiring the beautiful flowers.

Everyone had drifted apart during the final battle. I had kept in contact with Ginny and my cousin but everyone left to deal with their emotions individually. This will be the first time I would have seen Draco since the death of my father.

After it all went down Draco made his choice and joined Harry. Eventually with our help the Malfoy name was cleared and without wasting a minute Draco disappeared into the sunset without a look back.

Even though our friendship was fractured it did hurt when he left with no word. Harry was the one who tried to explain his actions to me.

'His world has just been turned upside down, everything he believed in was just torn away...'

That seemed fair. I heard nothing from him for about a month until a snowy white owl who looked very similar to Hedwig dropped off a letter. Inside it had his apology for running off and asked me if I was up for mending the friendship between us.

Obviously, I said yes. I did really miss my cousin and all the stuff we used to do together. From that point onwards we corresponded via owl every week or so. Then when the idea of hosting a party of Potter Manor appeared in my head, he was the second person I invited.

The first person was Ginny Weasley. When it was all over and Ginny was woken, Tonks had explained the whole situation to Ginny. And I mean everything.

The girl avoided me for a few weeks, and it left me feeling sore. That is when I realised that I actually cared for out friendship and was sad to see it disappear in a second.
