"Do you want to stop by school to see if you have any homework tonight or anything?" Zayn asks me right after turning the car on.
"No." I say calmy, in a monotone voice.
"You okay? Ya know, other than everything that just happened?" His question makes me think.
Am I okay? Can my life go on? What if my dad is still with that slut bag, and wants to move. I'm not moving. I'm not leaving Leah, and Zayn. I can't. They're everything to me. It took me long enough to build up those relationships. I'm not just going to leave it all behind, and do it again. I'm just not.
I need to make a back up plan. If my dad wants us to move, I'll go live with Leah. I'll go to school and stuff. Ill be okay.
"Bell?" Zayn interrupts my thoughts. "U good?" He reminds.
"Yeh, I think I am." I assure.
"Want to grab something to eat? You must be starving."
"Yeh." I am hungry, not starving, but a little hungry.
"There's a Wendy's up here." He turns into a shopping center.
"Chicken nuggets." I tell Zayn and he orders our food.
"Here you go." He says, handing me the food from the bag.
"Thanks." I take a seat.
I open the small box and the smell makes me a little noxious. Maybe I'm not hungry after all.
I try taking a bite of one nugget, but I barely can. I stare at the wall behind Zayn and then back at my food.
"You've barely eaten." Zayn speaks. I notice how much I was picking at my food. I look up and Zayn's almost finished.
I sigh and close the box and tell Zayn I'll eat it later.
When we get back to my house I sit in the car for a little while.
"Can we go to school?" I ask surprised at my own words. School will keep my mind off of everything.
"S-sure." Zayn says, as surprised as I am. He starts the engine and drives to Southern High School.
I see Liam's car in the drive way when Zayn parks.
I sigh and step out of the car.
"Come on." Zayn calms and grabs my hand.
We walk into the main office and Zayn explains why we are coming in at 5th period.
I stand there waiting for Zayn to come back to walk inside as he and the lady at the front desk keep looking at me.
"Here." Zayn hands me a pass s we walk into the empty halls.
I grab my books for math class and Zayn walks me there.
I hand the teacher the pass and take my seat. Everyone is looking at me. I notice that I must look like a complete mess. I'm in sweatpants, my hair in a bun, my make up is something else. And I bet my cheeks are flushed, and eyes still a little swollen.
I am a mess.
