To be completely honest, I have no clue when it started.
I just remember suddenly realizing that Chan was a beautiful, kind-hearted, darling person while I was brushing my teeth one night, and then choking on my toothpaste when it dawned on me that I wanted him to be more than a friend. When I declared my new discovery to Gunhak the next morning, he looked me in the eyes and said, "It's about fricking time,"
I blinked. "Huh?"
He rolled his eyes. "Saemi, you never stop talking about the guy. Go get married already!"
"Pfft. Haha. As if he really liked ME, the most obnoxious human to exist,"
He shrugged. "Miracles can happen,"
I laid in bed, awake for hours that night. I knew very well he liked me as more than a friend-- I wasn't stupid. He dropped hints repeatedly. He chose me, of all of the boys' girl-friends to be friends with. Me.
I smiled softly when I thought of that. It made me feel special and giddy. I didn't understand why I liked him so much at first, but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. We had to be soulmates.
So I, being the weird idiot I am, texted Chan at 3:19 AM.
Me:
Channie~
I need you to know this
It's important
Channie boy♥:
What's up, sweetheart?
WOW OKAY, right off the bat, using a pet name. This is the man.
Me:
We're soulmates!!
Isn't that exciting?
