The next day I rose from my bed,Marine Officer Greg was still laying down in his chair, how is it that this guy can sleep for so long? I been up for about 20 hours, yet I can cope with just 7 hours of rest. But my eye caught the key hanging on the side of his pocket, there was no time to lose. All my friends went safely home after I twisted the truth, no one will ever find out what I did, because I know for a fact I'm visiting my grave with that secret. They will live normal lives and to me that's all that matters. Now my other thought is, how the fuck am I going to steal that key without him noticing?
Page 44:
Suddenly my eye spotted a broom that can easily be slid through the bars, I carefully crept over to it and grabbed it. I was extremely gentle, making sure I dont clank the bars. Almost there. Yes, I finally got it! Now to slowly, without disturbing his nap move the broom to his pocket, I couldn't believe I was doing this. I'm already in enough trouble, but I need to get out of here because now I'm shaking in my britches as I don't want to find out what happens today, and just dissapear from the face of the planet. I'm too much of a scaredy cat, and as we all know curiosity killed the cat, so no thank you.Page 45:
I was so close as I placed the broomstick inside the hole of the key, and as I was about to pull it off, suddenly an alarm went off. Ok seriously, now?? I was so agitated, and Greg had rushed off his chair, but luckily he didn't notice the key had fallen, he geared up and although I did not give a shit with what was happening, I asked him what's going on. And he replied that the base was under attack. Just my luck, probably some terrorists who want to murder me or something.Page 46:
As he rushed out, the key still laying there, I was in a rush to get the hell out of here but not without gearing up first. Luckily the idiot managed to leave some armor and a weapon behind. Rule #1 is to never leave without all your weapons. It's a fact folks dont forget it. I had gotten armored up and looked around for any extra things I may need. I found a belt so I can keep my pants up,and some string as well as needles; honestly I must say, I look like a bad- ass. As I walked out holding the Ak-47, how how I dreamed of myself doing something like this. But I suddenly spotted Greg from the corner of my eye, fighting a very intimidating guy.Page 47:
He was tall, muscular, his skin color was a light brown, and his eyes were a hazel, no hair on the dude either. He had Greg pinned and I was debating whether I should save his ass or not. As soon as I saw Greg about to be stabbed I thought
Oh what the heck this should be fun
I sprung into action and drop-kicked the guy, I then procceeded to smack him from the back of his head with the gun. The dude was tough, but not strong enough to take a bullet in his gut. As I helped Greg up, he was shocked after seeing my face:"How did y-"
"Look dude there is no time for questions, you want to save the compound right? Stop asking me stupid things and hurry up, you grilled me enough last night I dont have time for this bullshit
Page 48:
The guy injured Greg, and I was a little concerned, he is tough, but I knew he needed medical attention immediately. So I grabbed his hand and rushed him to the cell where luckily no one has breached yet, I covered his gun-shot wound and quickly grabbed a knife, I slowly cut open the affected area and removed the bullet with tweezers. I was able to sow his wound, clean it up and wrap around it."Hey, what's your name?"
"I go by Ruby, that's all you need to know Greg"
Honestly I was hoping he wouldn't ask me anything else, and thank god he didn't.
Page 49:
I was already pissed off from my failed attempts of escape, I dont need stupid questions being asked towards me, because that's when I will end up infuriated. Thank God Chloe isn't here, she would honestly start shipping me and the guy like no tomorrow. But I wish she was here to joke about it just to mess with me, I miss all my friends but they are safe and maybe eventually I'll be able to speak to them someday. Just now is not the right time. But anyways now that this guy is wrapped up I better get going before anything else happens to him.Page 50:
I helped him up and asked if he can move, he was fine, luckily the wound was not as severe as it looked, but I did say I wouldn't recommend him to move too much. Because they could open up again and guaranteed a serious infection could happen. I sat him down on the chair and went myself bringing in more injured soldiers from the halls. Despite my excellent fighting skills, I was also very well trained in nursing, my mom was one and she was an expert in it, so I suppose I get it all from her.Page 51:
I started to attack the hostiles incoming. I was very determined and hadn't had this much fun since my father taught me boxing. But I was able to fight them all off and the alarm was finally off. All the terrorists had been eliminated and I was relieved, but I wished I had died from that somehow because I can tell Officer Greg is going to start interrogating me later with idiotic questions, which I dont wish to answer by the way, because I'm trying to keep my secrets hidden as much as possible.
