"Killing game?!" Everyone except Aki yelled in shock.
"Yes!" Monokuma giggled, "A killing game!"
"Why the hell would we kill anyone?" Marinette yelled.
"That's rich, coming from the Ultimate Gunman," the bear retorted, offending Marinette, "Anyway, let me explain,"
The room was filled with a low hum of complaining and mumbling as Monokuma began explaining the rules.
"So, let's say one of you kids murder someone-" the black and white bear started.
"As if we would kill someone!" Shijime yelled out in protest
"Let the bear continue," Aki spat at Shijime, surprising her.
"Anyway!" Monokuma growled, "If one of you was to kill someone you will be allowed to leave the park,"
"If it's that simple then I guess I'll be a murderer," Tadaki laughed. Everyone turned to Tadaki and stared at him disapprovingly, "Ok, ok. I was only joking,"
"And no, it's not that simple," Aki said.
"H-how do you know that?" Tib whimpered across the room.
"Are you that stupid? Wow. Of course it wouldn't be a simple as that!" Aki sounded annoyed, "Monokuma wouldn't just let us kill someone and leave,"
"Why yes, it's not that simple," Monokuma chuckled, "Once 3 people (not including the murderer) have found the body, there will be a 'Body Discovery' announcement. Then, an investigation will begin for a certain amount of time. At the end of the investigation, a class trial will begin!"
"Class trial?" Hitori sounded puzzled.
"Yes, a class trial. Everyone will head to the trial grounds and debate who killed your dearly departed. Once a conclusion is reached, you must vote for who the killer is. If you get it right...I will only punish the killer," Monokuma explained.
"Hey! What's this punishment then?" Kai asked from the corner.
"Why it's the only punishment that's acceptable in a killing game...an execution!" Monokuma grinned widely, his sharp teeth glimmering.
"E-e-execution!?" Hana curled up with August to distract her from the thought of death.
"Yes! Now, there is a catch," the bear cackled, "If you get it wrong....I will punish everyone except the killer! So there are the rules of the killing game,"
"Sounds horrible!" Shijime yelled.
"Sounds scary!" Hana mumbled.
"Sounds exciting," Aki grinned.
"Sounds fun!" Tadaki laughed.
Aki and Tadaki received strange looks from the class but said nothing more.
"I'm sure none of us will kill anyone, right guys?" August seemed hopeful but received no answer.
"Well, sure. Don't kill anyone and you'll stay here forever!" Monokuma chuckled
"Forever?!" Hara's eyes were filled with fear.
"Anyway, I'll be off now. It's almost 4pm, so you may want to explore your rooms," Monokuma started to walk out of the door, "But remember to lock your doors, you don't know how bloodthirsty each of you are."

The room was in silence for a bit until Tadaki broke in a disturbing way:
"So, a killing game eh? Sounds fun," he laughed, "Come on Levan, let's see our rooms,"
The pair walked upstairs and more giggles could be heard as a door was slammed.
"Well, I suppose it's best to get acquainted to our new surroundings," Aki stood up and headed towards the stairs, "I'm going to my room. I suggest you all do the same,"
Aki was followed by most of the group who went up alone, like Marinette or in pairs, like Hana and August. Shijime decided to do the same and headed to her room, hearing laughs from Tadaki's room and quiet reading from August's room as she walked past the doors.

Her room was mostly a normal hotel room with a bed, wardrobe and small desk fitted on to the square floor. However, a few tweaks seemed to have been added for Shijime specifically like a large shelf of dolls, a mahogany makeup box and a large mirror posed in the corner of the room.

A loud tap from the door echoed around her dorm.
"Hello? Shijime, you in there?" Genki's voice reached Shijime's ears from the other side of the door.
"Yes! Come in!" She replied.
Genki walked in and seemed worried (although the mask made it hard to tell).
"You didn't lock your door?" Genki's eyes looked concerned.
"Nope, as if anyone is actually going to kill someone," Shijime was trying to reassure herself more than Genki, "It's probably just a sick joke,"
"I hope so," Genki sat on the bed next to her, "If it's a joke, it's not very funny. I heard Hana crying in August's room before,"
"Wow, do you know how anyone else has been?" Shijime asked.
"Well, Tadaki is being...strange but Levan's trying to say that's just how Tadaki is. Aki hasn't spoken to anyone since he went to his room. I saw Popee and Yori go into a room together and Yori looked really sad," Genki remembered, "Overall, I don't think anyone is taking it very well. Most people are probably trying to forget about the killing part."
Shijime just sighed and lay her head on a pillow letting her ears soak up the guitar music from Hitori's room.
"Do you reckon they have any good hentai here?" Genki laughed.
"Genki! Now is not the time!" Shijime scolded him.
Genki chuckled and lay next to the Ultimate Nail Artist.
"Hey Shiji, do you wanna go explore?" Genki suggested, desperately trying to forget that they were in a killing game.
"Um...sure," Shijime was bored out of her mind, "Is the ground floor just a restaurant?"
"Let's go find out," Genki got up, his mask shining with bright oranges and yellows.
