the song kinda goes with the setting of this story but overall its just one of my favs from one direction.

Cameron downed his third bottle of vodka, his throat now numb to the burning sensation and his tongue used to the bitter taste.

He sighed running his fingers through his hair as he tapped his foot,

Why.

Was all he could ask, the love of his life, his best friend, his colleague, his world could just drop everything for a one night stand.

Mason didn't even seem to care, it had only been a month since the break up and Mason was already with someone new.

The boys were disappointed at how careless Mason was acting especially towards Cameron and his feelings, but hurting Cameron wasn't Mason's intention.

He was just hurt, he wanted his Cam back, he wanted the cuddles and kisses and the late night video chats when one of them left to America or to see family.

Mason missed it just as much as Cameron.

The two boys found it difficult to act normal around each other especially on the podcast, which Mason barley showed up for.

Their fans had no idea they had dated so they could have privacy, but it became obvious there was tension as Cameron became less active and seemed uninterested in the podcasts and his streams.

Everyone noticed Cameron had changed, he became more blunt with what he said, he seemed distant and upset and sometimes would even show up to the office with dry tear streaks down his face.

He was drained.
But Mason was happy.

People shipped Mason and his new lover, even some of the boys, and despite being hurt Cameron was supportive, or at least acted like he was.

He wasn't.
He didn't want him with Mason.
He wanted Mason.
He wanted everything Mason had with his replacement.

Despite what Mason did all Cameron wanted was Mason laying down next to him at night asking him stupid questions, he wanted the smoke sessions they'd have when they couldn't sleep.

Cameron had dropped a-lot to be with Mason, he even put his streaming on hold for a month to take care of Mason when he had a breakdown, and in return Mason slept with somebody else.
