Remington had been on tour now for about 2 months and you were missing him like crazy. It didn't matter how many FaceTime calls or pictures he sent, you missed him more than anything. In fact, it made you miss him even more. Tonight was a particularly hard night for you. You had no idea why you were so sad, but you just were. You missed his touch, you missed the kisses, and most of all, you missed how warm he made the bed feel. On cold nights, you didn't need a blanket because Remington was always there, when you forgot a blanket when you are sitting on the couch, Remington was there. He made you feel safe, he made you feel at home. Now you felt like you were sleeping in a foreign bed and living in a random home. You felt alone and cold.

You drifted off to sleep that night crying. You didn't care to wipe the smudged black eyeliner that stained your face, You didn't care that you didn't shower. There was no one there to comfort you. The only thing you had was Remington's sweatshirt clutched in your hands.

Around 3 A.M, someone or something tried to rip the sweatshirt away from you. You would not let go of it. You opened one eye to see a dark figure with spikey hair with his head cocked to one side. He was studying you. "I didn't mean to wake you love, I just wanted to cuddle you", Remington said as he brushed the hair out of your eyes and tried to wipe the makeup away. You shot up and gripped him so tight, it was as if you were never going to see him again. He laid down next to you and you started to cry into his chest. He rubbed his hand down your back and whispered sweet nothings into your ear. He kept wiping the tears away from your eyes and kissed you everywhere he could possibly reach. You dropped the sweatshirt to the floor. The smell of his musky cologne filled your nose. You missed that smell. You were finally complete. He was finally home. The bed finally felt warm again.
