A Dog (Sebastian)

     You were home alone because Sebastian was on tour. He had been gone for months and was due back any day now. He wanted to surprise you, so he didn't tell you the day he was coming back home. You missed him like crazy, but he was making his dream come true and you were happy for him. 

     Sebastian had just texted you that he had a big surprise for you. You had no idea what it could possibly be because you had everything you needed and he knew that. There were certain things you wanted, but you never told him because he would go buy it right then and there. You didn't want him wasting his hard-earned money on you. "Whatever it is, return it, I have all I need here", you texted him. 

"I am so sorry lovely, but this can't and won't be returned", he texted back. You were anxious, you worried about how much it cost and why he couldn't return it. You loved him, but sometimes he was crazy.

      Just the other day, he sent you flowers. Sure they were beautiful, but you felt bad. Then the day after that it was chipotle and a box of chocolates. You worry that he won't ever stop. 

     You saw his car pull up in the driveway and you instantly wondered what he had. He texted you to close your eyes and wait for him in the living room. You begrudgingly obeyed. Just as you heard the door unlock and close, you heard something smelling you. You held your hand out and it started to lick you. You were so confused that when he told you to open you eyes, you pulled them away fast. You saw a small little puppy standing at your feet wagging it's tail. You looked up and saw the huge grin implanted on Sebastian's face. You picked up the small puppy and placed it on your lap. "Is it a he or a she", you said as you started to giggle.

     "She is a beautiful lady like you", he said with a smile. You gushed over her for a few minutes before realizing that she didn't have a name. "What's her name", you ask Sebastian confused. 

      "Your choice, she is yours after all", he said sweetly. You just looked at her. You needed to find a name that suited her well. "Royale", you say confidently. He smiled at you and whispered "Perfect".
