Chapter 9

Anna's POV

"Dad?" I asked, in shock.

"Yes, it's me Anna," he said, smiling warmly. I got up and slammed him against a wall, ignoring the screaming pain throught my body.

"YOU MURDERER!" I screamed, my eyes blazing red.

"I...I can-"

"YOU KILLED MY MOTHER!" I cut him off. I pulled out my wand and jabbed it in his neck. He started coughing.

"And I'm going to kill you," I hissed, getting ready to say the spell.

"I'm innocent!" he said, coughing.

He's innocent

I remembered my mom saying. My father was who she was talking about. I lowered my wand and let him go.

"You better do a good job explaining, I'm not afraid to kill," I growled and sat in a chair.

He explained everything. How Wormtail (aka Peter Pettigrew) was a traitor and gave away the location of where my and Harry's parents were hiding. And how Wormtail escaped by faking his death and turning into an animagus and my father was blamed.

"So, do you believe me?" He asked. I just nodded and hugged him and he hugged me back.

"I need to see Harry," I said when we let go.

"You're not going anywhere," he said, blocking the door.

"What? Why?" I asked, my temper rising.

"Voldemort will catch you."

"Not when I'm at Hogwarts," I said, walking towards the door.

"Anna, Hogwarts isn't safe anymore."

"Yes it is, it's safer than Gringotts!" exclaimed.

"Anna, I'm your father, and you're going to listen to me, I know what's best," he said sternly. I knew he was just trying do what he thought was best for me.

"Dad, just let me visit Harry and I'll come back. I just need to let him know that I'm okay," I said pleadingly.

"I'm not letting you go out there and get kidnapped again,"

"Dad-"

"I said no, I'm not going to argue with you," he growled, his temper rising.

"But-"

"YOUR MOTHER DIED TRYING TO PROTECT YOU! SHE DIDNT DO IT JUST SO YOU COULD GO GET YOURSELF KILLED!" He yelled.

"Okay! I'm sorry!" I said, I knew I had hit a nerve.

"I'm sorry for blowing up at you, I just know what's best for you, and right now, it's staying in hiding," he said and walked out. I sighed and looked out the window. I realized that I was in Hogsmade, inside the Shrieking Shack. I've read about Hogsmade in Hogwarts a History. I read a lot okay? Nobody goes in the Shreiking Shack, because they think it's haunted. That's probably why we're hiding here. I've also read that 3rd years and up get to go to Hogsmade for field trips. Maybe I could sneak out and see Harry. I was going to find a way to see him no matter what.
