Miran stood next to a priest. He was in the capital church waiting for someone. It was big enough to fit all of Sylvia's family, the king, Brune and Helen and it did. He was dressed up in a black suit with white-button down shirt. The priest said a few words and waited for the bride to enter. It took a few minutes but Sylvia walked through the doors in a white wedding dress. Since they had two ways of doing this and since the king gracefully offered the church, they decided to do it the human way. Sylvia paced forward. White suited her. This suited her. In his eyes, she had never looked as beautiful as she had now. Their decision to do this the human way had sparked a lot of heated discussions between the matriarchs but Sera made sure that her daughter would be happy. When Sylvia reached him, the priest said a few words and asked them if they agreed to take each other as bride and groom. Both agreed without a moment's hesitation. Miran put a gold ring around her ring finger while she did the same to him. They then kissed before walking out of the church. Children were throwing flowers over their heads. Miran turned to Brune who had the biggest smile imaginable on his face. He fully recovered a short while before the wedding and was dead-set on attending it. He and Sera spoke before the wedding and decided that they would not revive the Herat clan. It would be better to just let the two of them rule Sera's clan. The two love birds hopped on a wagon and drove off to the elven forest where they would spend their first night as a married couple.
They had never been this happy before.
