Breakfast

Kid Flash yawns big as he stretches and walks through the living room door, "Awwe, man! I'm hungry!"

"You're always hungry, Kid Dork." Artemis said.

Robin crackled lightly.

"Yeah, but I have to eat a lot! My metabolism-" Wally cut himself off, jaw dropping to the floor.

The table and counters were covered with breakfast food. Any food you can imagine; sausage, eggs, pancakes, omelets, waffles, bacon, etc. It was so much food!

"Miss M, green cheeks, did you make all this?" Wally smiled at her.

"Uh, no, it was here when I got here," Megan held up her plate of food.

Superboy huffed a little bit didn't say anything other than that.

"Well, perhaps we should ask Mike?" Aqualad looked at the camera.

"Uhm... my guess would be either Robin or Emma after our walk." Mike said, shrugging.

"Walk?" Roy asked, taking his eyes off the tv.

"Yeah, we went on a walk last night with Robin. We talked and it was okay. I didn't like being on the roof." Mike explained.

All the while Mike was talking, Robin was trying to make gestures to make him stop talking.

"Oh, really?" Red Arrow glared at Robin.

"I can handle it!" Robin said.

"They're civilians!" Roy yelled.

"And I could've protected them!" Robin said.

"You're 13!" Red Arrow said.

"And I'm the most experienced of us all!" Robin yelled back.

Everyone was quite.

"You seem to forget that a lot." Robin huffed and started walking out the door.

"Thank you Emma for breakfast. It was really good." Robin said before walking again.

Recognized: Robin B-01

"Really?!" Wally glared at Roy.

"I know Robin is young, but he is the best of us." Kaldar said.

"Robin can be immature but you had no right to yell at him like that." Artemis said.

"But he also could have been caught. He'd hold himself responsible if any villains killed them." Roy said, hand gesturing to Emma and Mike.

"He wouldn't have taken them out if he couldn't have handled it!" Wally growled.

"He also gave us black clothes to help us blend in with the night." Emma said.

"And we always stayed close and followed his words to a 'T'." Mike piped in.

"And what would've happened if a villain found you? Some of them are really messed up." Roy asked them.

"We would've followed his words." Emma said.

"Even if he yelled at you two to run and leave him behind?" Red Arrow asked.

Emma's eyes went wide, "He wouldn't have-"

"You're wrong. That's what he'd do if it meant saving your lives. There's a reason why you're told to stay IN the mountain and the ship." Roy countered.

"He'd die for us?" Mike asked.

"Any of us would." Aqualad said.

Several nods went around the room.

"And that's not just for you. It's for any civilian. They're innocent in this. They didn't ask for villains or heroes. And certainly not this war we're all in." Wally said.

"You're all kids though." Emma said.

"We knee the risks when we signed on. We're all aware of what could happen. But we choose to focus on the best." Artemis said.

"You all do what some grown men can't. I'm thoroughly impressed." Mike said.

"Thank you. But we do it to save everyone else." Aqualad said.

"So, is fighting a big part of the dynamic here?" Emma asked, slightly worried.

"We're all teenagers. We're ganna fight. Just give everyone enough time to cool down." Wally said, laughing a bit.

"We do have a lot of exercises to help us bond as a team and help us to move more fluently with each other, but we're all teens still. We're bound to fight." Artemis informed.

"We're human, dear I say?" Aqualad asked, smirking a bit.

"Speaking of working together, did everyone forget about today's training session?" Black Canary asked from the doorway.

"Oh no! I did!" Aqualad frowned.

Dinah laughed, "It's okay, Aqualad. Where's Robin?"

"You're going to have to call him, I may have bitten his ear off." Roy blushed a bit.

Canary stared at him.

"I'll tell him I'm sorry!" RA said, trying to calm the Mama Canary down.

"Okay. Well, while I call him, the rest of you go get ready for training." Canary said.

Everyone finished their breakfast quickly, got up, and went to the training room.

"Start your stretches!" Canary called from the other room.

"Would you like to join in on the stretches. We could even get tea after this, if you would like?" Aqualad suggested.

"Sure! Let me get set up!" Mike smiled, pulling the tripod off his back.

Soon Emma and Mike were stretching along with the team.

"So, training?" Robin asked, sneaking into the room.

Emma yelped, "Don't scare me like that!"

"Boy!" Mike yelled.

Robin crackled, "Nice stretching, but you should move your ankle this way so that you're not twisting it wrong. That really hurts when you do that." Robin moves Mike's ankle slightly.

"Oh! That feels better!" Mike nodded.

"See? Go with the natural flow of your body." Robin said.

"Hey, Robin. I'm sorry for being stupid and underestimating you." Roy apologized.

Robin smirked, "I'll take it, but you owe me pizza!"

"Okay, I'll get you some." Roy nodded.

Robin quickly hugged Red Arrow before finding a spot on the floor and stretching.

"Okay, everyone! Are you ready to start training?" Black Canary smirked.
