"Eliza! The purge starts soon. We cannot risk our lives. It's just Peggy, she can take care of herself."
Eliza slapped him.
"Just Peggy?? She is my sister, dumbass."
Alexander rolled his eyes, pretending the slap didn't burn his skin or bruise his ego. "It's just... I can't bare to lose you. I love you Eliza. I never stopped or will stop loving you. You mustn't go out into harms way."
Eliza glanced at the old clock on the wall. "It's 6:10. We still have 50 minutes until the purge. Let's go. If you're too much of a coward then I can go alone."
Hamilton bit his lip. This was cutting it close, but he needed to prove his loyalty to Eliza. "Alright. But if we can't find her before it starts, we must return."
Eliza strode out the door. Hamilton hesitantly followed.
