"Val, could you bring Diego out for a walk? At this rate of distraction, we won't have dinner if he keeps pestering me..."

"Alright, come on Diego! Let's go out for a walk..."

"Diego, do you miss mama? It has been a week since you last saw her..."

"We are back! Diego, let's get your feet wash before muddy footprints are all over the floor..."

Val kisses Chloe's cheeks and slid her hands around Chloe's waist, "Babe, what did you make for us tonight? It smells good! Is it my favourite dish?!"

"Yes, you glutton. Make sure you have three portions, I made a lot because it's your favourite..."

"Yesss, that's why you are my favourite..."

Val moved in with Chloe after her confrontation with Jul at Ashleigh's, initially Val and Chloe were roommates, as time passed, Val began to develop feelings for Chloe, of course Chloe is always there for Val and took a liking to her ever since the first time they met.

"Who knows you can cook that well.."

"There's still a lot that you don't know about me, Valentina..." Chloe smirked at Val while biting onto the fork.

"So are we going out for a movie tonight or you want to go to the newly open pub?"
Val asked as she scrolled her phone to find what movies are showing in the theatre.

"I see if you have been doing some exploring around the neighbourhood..."
Diego was loitering around the dining table, hoping one of them will throw him some food. Chloe threw a piece of boneless chicken and Diego took it under the table.

"Yeah, while walking with Diego..."

"Nah, I just wanna stay home and spend time with you... I feel like these happy days are gonna end anytime, it seems so unreal to me."

"Chloe, what's wrong? Hey, come on... I'm glad that you got me out of the hellhole and be there with me throughout this journey and you are not a substitute... Trust me, I really like you A LOT and I thought you should know that."

Val got up from her chair and went over to kiss Chloe's forehead to reassure her. "Why not let finish this up and we can get to the part where we cuddle on the couch?"

"Alright, but i'm gonna be the big spoon..."

"Nooo, i'm taller than you. I should be the big spoon..."

"NOOOO, in that case I will be the big spoon for Diego then..."

"Okkkk, you got me there. You will spoon me then... Not sure I will get much spooning from you since you are smaller..."

Chloe threw the dish towel over to Val's face to stop her from talking about her height. Val is a head taller than Chloe, Chloe kept saying that she is of the average height of an australian woman but Val didn't think so.

Both were chilling on the couch and sipping on their red wine. Val rested her head on Chloe's lap, their hands intertwined with Chloe running through Val's hair with her other hand. "Do you think everything has happened too fast for us?"

Val tilted her head up to make eye contact with Chloe, "Babe, 3 months is not fast. I have known you for more than that... This isn't your fault, I promise...I have broken up with Jul before I got together with you, it's natural for me to gradually fall in love with you in this circumstance under tender loving care."

"It just feels wrong, you know? Like you were vulnerable because you broken up with Jul then I came along and the thing we are together. What would people think about us?"

"Let's switch places, you are too tense, let me give you a back massage."

Val got up and Chloe moved to the front. She sat up straight and Val began to put pressure on Chloe's shoulders, "you want me to go harder or this is fine?"

"Mmm, this is good."

"Chloe, you don't have to think of what others think of us... When we first met, it wasn't the right time because I still have feelings for Jul but not anymore. Sarah introduced you to me because she thinks that we will get along well based on our common interests plus you are pretty and kind, why wouldn't I fall in love with you?"

Val turned Chloe's face to meet her lips, she gently peck Chloe's lips and continue to massage her lower back.

"You are our miss popular/heartbreaker in school and i'm just the girl next door... Who will expect miss popular to fall in love with me? Everything is so surreal to me."

"Who said I'm miss popular and since when am I a heartbreaker?"

"You broke my heart when you told me you still have feelings for Jul the next morning after our coffee date... Come on, almost everyone in the school has a crush on you, you are like the most dateable person. I'm in luck to be even dating you..."

"Well, I will make you feel even luckier..."

Val tilted Chloe's head backwards to kiss her passionately, Val got up and then pushed Chloe down to the couch and got on top of her. They start making out, when things are about to get hot, Diego barked upon seeing them getting on. They both laughed, "I think we should take this to the bedroom instead..." Val piggyback Chloe to the bedroom, throwing her onto the bed and close the door so Diego won't interrupt them again.
