"thanks" I sat quietly
"yous make a great team" she says to us
"yeah" I sat and give rye a small smile.
"so yous can do whatever you want, actually nessa can you write what you think of Rye's singing on the guitar he needs one more person to write for him" she says
"if he is okay with that" I say awkwardly.
"yeah I'm fine with that" he says with a smirk
We walk up on stage and I sit on a chair and so does rye.
"alright so this is a cover of the song crown" he says to me.
After he finished singing to looked up to me.
"that was really good" I say with a smile.
"so I have finished writing what do I do with the paper?" I ask him
"just give it to the teacher" he says to me.
I give the paper to the teacher and walk over to Kit who has finished printing out tickets.
"hey" I say with no emotion
"hey" Kit says imitating me
"are you okay?" she says and puts her hand on my shoulder.
"yeah" I say and nod my head
She pulls me down to sit on a chair and sits next to me
"it's rye, isn't it?" she says to me raising her eyebrows
"it's just he is so confusing" I say putting my head in between my legs
"you might hate me for asking but do you like him?" she asks me
"I don't know, like I kinda want to but then I feel as if it's wrong" I say and lift my head up
Rye's pov ~
I was sitting by myself then Dylan and his friends decided to join.
"so what do you think of maddie?" One of his friends say
"what do you mean?" I ask annoyed
"do you like her?" Dylan asks
"She is not my type" I say
"Come on mate we are trying to help you out here, you want a hot girlfriend right?" another one of his friends add.
"it's not just about the looks" I say and get out of my seat. I start walking away and then I see Blake.
"hey blake" I say to him
"what's up so I know you probably won't want to talk about girls but you need to stop swapping spit with Vanessa for now so we can get to work" he says to me
"well she is the one who came on to me" I mumble
"it's a shame what happened to her today" Blake says and turns around and starts walking
"w-what happened?" I ask confused
"someone broke in her locker or something and took something valuable" he says
"anyway enough about girls" he says
"wait do you have a girlfriend?" I ask blake
"yes, she lives in New York so it's long distance" he says
"cool" I say
"so everyone after school we are going to the beach if you want to come" maddie shouts from the stage into a microphone.
