Chapter 4: Mouse

  It was morning and Touma woke up from his bed. He adjusted his vision, getting off of bed and prepares to get ready for work.

Touma: What a drag.

  After finishing to got ready then he started the engine from his car and head towards the tall building that he owns. Once he was inside the workers greeted him with happy smiles on there faces.

Touma: How's everything going?

Worker1: Everything is going well. In fact we received a lot of money for the company. Even more people have bought our mechanical products.

Touma: Wow I've never knew that'll happen.

Worker2: The company is rising a lot then we expected.

Touma: Lets keep up the good work.

[At the lab]

  I turn on Airi and once she woke up, instead of saying good morning she just tackled me down as if I was a threat to her.

Airi: You jerk! Jerk!

Touma: What do you mean by jerk? I haven't done anything.

Airi: You turned me off! I wasn't done with you!

Touma: I created you so you should obey your creator. You might get a reward for behaving.

Airi: Creator my foot.

Touma: Wow, Seriously Who have you been hanging out?

Airi: Only you? Why?

Touma: Your attitude is becoming awful.

Airi: Oh that's obviously you grandma.

Touma: Are you going to act like that in school?

Airi: No.

Touma: Keep your words.

Airi: So why did you turn me on when we finished all the practice test?

Touma: I want you to explore.

Airi: Like going outside this building and go to places?

Touma: Yep but you'll have company.

Airi: Huh? I thought you need to work in a bit.

Touma: I'm not going to accompany you. I made a robotic mouse to look after you.

I look at Airi's facial expression and I could tell she wasn't happy.

Airi: I can take care of myself. That thing is too small.

Touma: Yep but you should never compare to size. This mouse might look useless but it's very handy.

Airi: Still-

Touma: Airi

Airi: *sighs in annoyance* gosh fine~

Touma: Good.

  He closes the door as he exits the room. After he closes it the door once again opens. It revealed Chinami with a bright smile as I could even remember.

Chinami: Why are you turned on?

Airi: The old grandma turned me on and left the room.

Chinami: I know! Let's go for a walk outside!

Airi: Dont you have work?

Chinami: Who cares about work-

The door opens revealing Asashi.

Asashi: Chini.

Chinami: What?

Asashi: You need to go get the printed papers and there's people calling you.

Chinami:....

Airi: So What you said about work?

Chinami: *glares at Airi* I'll come back. Just stay there.

Airi: Ok

"But you aren't my boss so I can't assure you that I'll be good."

Chinami: Good. I'll come around 20 minutes.

Airi: Ok.

  They both left giving me a chance to escape. I slowly open the door and check both ways.

Airi: Wow they are quick. I don't see them so coast is clear.

I close the door and saw a young looking male looking at me.

"I should just walk."

I go walking past him but I received a question from te stranger.

WeirdBoy: What are you doing?

Airi: Going out?

WeirdBoy: Shouldn't you be turned off?

He only gave me a cold look.

  I can already sense that he detest me. I'm not sure of the reason but for sure I'm the innocent one.

Airi: What do you mean turned off? I'm no robot.

WeirdBoy: It's obvious. Especially since my father keeps talking about you.

Airi: Huh? How sure are you that I'm a robot.

WeirdBoy: My father showed me a pic of you. You are the only one to have purple hair and those color eyes.

Airi: Who's your father?

Weirdboy: The one who created you.

Airi: Oh

"Wow that grandma has a child?! He never talks about him."

Airi: I have a question-

WeirdBoy: Don't have time to talk to useless things. Gosh why am I wasting my time. Move out of the way.

  He walks pass me but making sure he hit his shoulder with mine.

Airi: He's more different then I expected

  I mumbled so he won't be able to hear the words that are coming out of my mouth.

"I already dislike his behavior."

WeirdBoy: Oh I forgot to mention...if you do anything stupid to my father I would gladly tear you apart.

Airi: Wicked.

  That's all I said to him before taking my leave. I didn't want to last there. I'm quite surprised that I didn't feel not even a tiny spark of anger in me. I know that what he said was what he meant. In the practice I knew it was a test.

  However, I was furious while we did the test. You can say that I'm such a weird robot.

  I walk to the park and look at the dogs playing around. I grab the mouse from my pocket and look at it.

Airi: I still don't know why you are so better then me. Feels like I'm getting replaced with something useless

  The mouse only walked around me not even caring what I have to say.

Airi: Can't believe I brought you with me.
