Chapter 8: Yuu?

He sat next to me and grab his tools in his backpack.

Kiko: What are you going to do?

Weirdboy: Fixing you?

Kiko: Ok

*After fixing me*

The bell rings from the school. I look at my phone and saw that the school has ended.

Airi: Oh no! School finished!

  Probably Touma will ask me why I haven't attended to my other classes. He'll probably burst as always making a big fuss out of everything. You can say I really dislike him. I don't know! It's like he sees me as a child and I hate that! I'm a college student and I haven't caused any problems so he should at least trust me, right?

I sigh in frustration.

Weirdboy: Is something the matter?

Airi: Not really.

He nods and waves goodbye. I walk to math class and say hello to Mr. Yuji.

Airi: Hello, Mr. Yuji~

I say while closing the door.

Yuji: Hello, Airi. Is their something you need help with?

I go up to his desk and place my homework in front of him and pointed to the question that I need help on.

Airi: I still don't get how you get the answer from this question.

Yuji: It's understandable since it's geometry but I'll show you a way to make it more simpler for you.

He started explaining the problem to me but I wasn't really paying attention because I was staring at something else.

I was staring at Mr. Yuji. He's very sweet and kind it makes my heart burst and even his looks.

Even though he's a little older than me he's very mature unlike other males. Unlike me I'm probably not his type.

That's what sucks in life! It frustrates me that I'm just a robot. I'm not human, I'm just a program. He won't love me and never will because I'm insecure about my looks and who I am.

You can't have everything you desire in life and if you do have everything it'll soon perish before you know it.

Mr. Yuji: Is something the matter? Airi? You seem a little upset, what's wrong?

I got back into reality and saw his concern look. My heart immediately stop beating normal and increase. I wasn't able to answer because of what's in front of me... He looks so handsome.

My eyes were falling for him and my fragile robotic heart.

Airi: I'm doing fine.

I smile and he nods and continues teaching me the problem. But little did I know someone was secretly watching me.

[Later]

It's already 5pm but I didn't had the guts to go to the company so I took a little stroll in the alley I walked last time.

After passing the alley I stop behind the crosswalk and waited to . A lot of people were gathering each second and I saw a little cute boy playing with his ball.

"Aw cute."

The boy bounce the ball again and it hit his shoe rather than the floor. The ball bounced and was now on the busy road.

The ball was in the boys eyes. He wanted to get the ball but was pulled from his mother. He didn't want to leave the ball there, so he use all his strength and ran to the street to capture on what's his.

My eyes widened and my head started to hurt.

Something started to playing in my mind that was like a flashback.

Jen: Stay here I'll go get the ball for us

Airi: Okie

Jen ran and got the ball but before she knew it a trailer honked at her aggressively. I ran to her with all my might.

Then... the trailer kept driving and honking even more aggressively.

It was now already too late to go up to her....

My brain stopped playing that weird memory or movie. I look at the little boy who was going to get hit by a fast moving car. I didn't move this time because I won't have time to run and save him.

The only thing to do now is just see the little boy crushed and die.

The car past through and I see that the boy was now on the sidewalk with a familiar boy. I squinted my eyes and see the one and only, Yuu.

He prevented the boy from dying. Yuu looked straight at me and the wind started to blow more when we made eye contact.

I place my hand on my robotic heart.

Everything has stopped for a moment. It soon got ruined when a sign said it was time for us to cross.

  Seeing Yuu gives me a weird feeling that I can't fully explain or even express.

We both passed each other in our way to the side walk before we brushed each other's shoulder.

My breath calmed down a bit which gave me the courage to face him again. I turn my back on everyone that was ahead of me and looked at Yuu who was nowhere to be found.
