The backstage area cleared quickly and Garrett and Blondie were left. They made their way down the hall to Garrett's dressing room. The door shut, and all of the management staff turned their heads.
Melissa, Garrett's manager, wasn't shocked. Not only was she Garrett's manager but also his best friend.
After two hours had passed Melissa pounded on the yellow star hanging on his door.
"We have to leave in twenty," she said over the soft music she could hear in the background.
Three minutes later, Blondie walked out of his room with messy hair and a half-buttoned shirt. She looked both ways confusingly until Melissa pointed her to the exit. Garrett walked out a minute later, re-tucking his wrinkled blue shirt. He had a grin on his face and he shook his head, releasing his brown strands of ringlet curls.
"Another one?" Asked Melissa disapprovingly.
"Another show, another dollar, another woman," he said with a chuckle.
"Get on the bus"
"Okay fine, but only because I want to," he teased.
