Another day in my extremely boring life. Once again I show up to school barely alive with a cup of sanity in my hands just like I do every single morning.
"Max!" Winter yelled as she ran up to hug me as Ella rolled her eyes. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that these were my weird best friends and just about the only people on planet Earth to tolerate my stubbornness.
"Winter you saw Maxine yesterday, please stop acting like she died and came back to life"Ella scolded.
"Oh great would you look at that... the world's ray of sunshine has arrived" I say sarcastically.
Just then the bell rings and forces us to go to class. My first class was English also known as nap time. As I was enjoying nap I heard a loud knock on my desk.
"Miss Harverd I don't mean to be RUDE or anything but should you mind repeating just what I said?" Said my English teacher sternly. Shoot...
There say Ella just a few desks in front helping me out with hand motions to keep me from looking like an idiot.
"Um I believe you were talking about .... a book? Called Blue bird?....... and you said something about it being about..... a classic." I said trying to look confident in my words also trying not to laugh at Ella imitating a bird and mouthing the words. Mrs. Gold looked impressed.
"Oh, yeah I believe so... very nice Miss Harverd" she commented and went back to the front of the room. I gave Ella a reassuring smile and a thumbs up. She just saved me from living hell. For the rest of class I focused on staying awake. Soon the bell run and I headed to my next class.
