Tick tock

POV somewhere in the mountains (3 person)

Amara was angry. She hastily paced around her giant living room as Ruby and Drake stood quietly with their heads down low in shame. Amara continued to pace around with her heels clicking in rhythm until she abruptly stopped in front of a shelf stocked with vases and glass figures.
"You know...I have extreme trust issues." She said in a quiet yet stricken tone.
"Yet I trusted you to do this job knowing that everything will go smoothly." She traced her manicured nails along the outline of a glass vase.
"Max was just a child when you stole her, you were so successful I actually thought something was going to work out..."She suddenly grabbed the vase and chucked it at the wall just slightly above Ruby's head. Ruby shut her eyes and whimpered. Amara continued to pace around the room as if nothing happened. Finally she turned to look at the two terrified adults.
" I am VERY disappointed. I put my faith into you, I told the guardians that you had it covered. I had them sponsor you give you all the sources that you needed yet you fail!!" She yelled as she threw a glass plate on the floor. Drake finally decided to speak up.
" we didn't think that it would go this way, I swear I only had one drink! I-I don't know what happened." He pleaded. Amara snapped her head in his direction. Drake knew that he had to shut up. Amara slowly made her way over to him while not braking eye contact. She leaned down to his ear. "It took ONLY one drink Drake... only.one.drink." Suddenly she pulled away at lightning speed and before Drake knew what is happening her hand hit across his face.
"Idiot!" The word came out of her bright red lips. She smirked. "Just wait till the guardians get to you... they will be furious, it will be a lot worse then this." She turned around and continued to pace.
" You have 1 month to find the girl, I don't know nor do I care how. She better be here... and if she's not? It will be off with your head. Tick tock your time starts now."
