My Favourite Senior | Jinji

Chapter 03

I woke up when my alarm ring. It's already 7 in the morning. It's been two weeks since the school has started. I quickly took a shower and put my uniform. 

 "Morning noona" Minsung, my brother greeted me. He was already in his uniform.

 "Morning my baby" I ruffled his hair.

"Aish noona, you ruined my hair!"

"Aigoo, let me fix it" I picked my comb inside my pocket and fixed his hair.

"There you go".

"Thank you noona".

I ate the toast bread that my aunt made. Then I put the sausages inside bread and put inside a container. That's my bento. I bring bento to school so I could keep my money. I wanted to buy a new guitar.

"Hey honey. I need to go now. Come on, Minsung. Be careful on your way, Jisoo" my aunt kiss my cheek as I did the same.

After I locked the gate, I pulled out my mp3 in my bag and put the earphone to hear some songs.

The season of cherry blossoms has arrived, In that shopping district's park. I walked slowly as I hummed along the song. They reach full blossom this year again. Braving the cold and fluttering in the air

I stopped infront of the park. I stared at the park for a while. How much time has passed ever since then? I'm starting to forget. The cherry blossoms we stopped to look at.

This park was the first place when I saw Park Jinyoung. On my first day in my form 1 when I walked alone to school. He was on the swing with his friends. His smile was the reason I like him. Then I threw my gaze to the sakura tree at the corner of the park. The sakura tree reach full blossoms when I first saw him. Somehow, I thought that this song suit him so much but he didn't know about that, of course. We've never talk to each other.

I continued my walk to the school. 

"Jisoo unnie!"

I looked at my back. Rosé, Lisa and Jennie walked towards me.

"Have you finished your homework?" the same question from the same person every morning.

"Yes Lisa. I'll give you later okay".

Rosé and Jennie laughed. I didn't know what Lisa really did at home. She never completed her homework.

Lisa pat my head and continued talking and they teased me about my favourite senior as we walked into the school.

Ever since that day where I accidentally confessed by shouting to my classmates, they would try to make me bump into Park Jinyoung but I managed to run from them whenever I saw him around.

I walked up the stairs to bring the books to Mr Jung's class. This was not good. The class was on the third floor and it's the same floor as my angel's class. I hoped I would not meet him. I continued my walk slowly while holding the books. It was too heavy. 

"Jinyoung, wait for me!"

I saw Park Jinyoung get out from the class I was standing in front of followed by his friend. They stopped when they saw me.

"Oh it's that Kim Jisoo"" His friend said that.

I dropped the book on the floor, turned around and quickly got away from there. Kim Jisoo? How did he knows my name?

As I ran, I heard footsteps behind me. I peeked at the back and saw Park Jinyoung was running to me.

What? Was he chasing me? I keep running as fast as I could. I jumped ignoring the staircase and continued running through the corridor to another school's building.

"Kim Jisoo"

That angel was calling for me. But I didn't stop and keep running even my stupid legs wanted to turn to where he was and hug him. Blame my sickness. It's called Park Jinyoung syndrome. Wow, what a great name.

"Hey, Look where are you going!"

A girl said that as I bumped into her. But I didn't stop running and just ignored her.

"Jisoo" I heard Jennie called my name.

"Wait Jen, I see you later!!" I waved to her as I ran to hide from my angel.

I quickly turned to left and hid inside the store room. I could see he was searching for me so I shut my mouth with my hands and kept myself behind the cupboard. After a while, he left.

It's break time. Jinyoung stood up to go to the canteen.

"Jinyoung! Wait for me!"

Jaebum quickly followed Jinyoung. As they got out from the class, there's a girl in front of him. She was holding the books and it looked so heavy. Jinyoung wanted to help her but Jaebum words made him stop.

"Oh! It's that Kim Jisoo!"

Jinyoung scanned her face and it was true. It's Kim Jisoo, the girl who said that he was her favourite senior.

As Jaebum said that, she suddenly dropped all the books and ran from them. Jinyoung found himself chasing after her.

There's a few time before that she managed to run from Jinyoung as soon as she saw him. And that made Jinyoung want to know her more. She was amusing and he found it's cute.

"Kim Jisoo"

Jinyoung call her name but she didn't stop running. Jinyoung saw she turned to left as they entered the another school's building. But as he turned to where she went, there's no one there. Jinyoung turned around to leave but suddenly he could feel that he was stepping on something. He looked to the floor.

Jinyoung picked that small thing from the floor. It was a guitar pick. 

Jisoo was written on it.

Jinyoung stared at the sky, he smiled as he remembered what happened yesterday. He came to the rooftop as all the teachers were having their meeting now. Because of that, many students got out from their class and scattering all around the school.

"Hey Jinyoung, Invite us when you want to come here" Mark sat next to him followed by Jaebum, Youngjae and Yugueom.

"Hey maknae" he called Yugyeom

"Yeah?"

"Your classmate is cute".

"You mean Jisoo?" Yugyeom asked him back. Jinyoung nodded his head and took out the guitar's pick from his pocket. He stared at the pink pick for a while. 'Jisoo' was written on it and he was sure it's none other than Kim Jisoo

"Are you falling in love with her?"

"No, not yet. But maybe. In the future," he replied Jaebum's question.

"Wow, are you serious hyung? Don't play with Jisoo noona. She is a really nice girl".

"I know that for sure, Yugyeom"

As they keep talking, Jinyoung could see
Jisoo and her friends at the field. 

"I LOVE YOU PARK JINYOUNG"

He chuckled. The boys stood up to see that girl and Jinyoung followed them. 

"I KNOW!"

He shouted at her back and waved his hand to her.

She froze and that made him laugh. Suddenly her friend hit her head. She looked back at her friend and hit her back. And then they continued hitting each other.

"What the hell are they doing?" Jaebum asked as they watched them from the rooftop. 

"What an interesting bunch of people" Mark said and them nodded, agreeing with his words.

Kim Jisoo. From now, I would keep my eyes on you.
