Chapter 21

This is the day. The day that Jisoo has been waiting for. She is looking forward for today and even chose the best outfit she has.

Heck, she actually bought a new outfit for today. Because she have a date.

A date with her senior, Park Jinyoung.

A date. She once said to Jinyoung that a date is typical for a couple and she found it's stupid. But this is Jisoo that we're talking about. A girl who always blurt stupid things before she even think.

Thank god that Jinyoung still decided to ask her for a date despite of what she said to him.

She is wearing striped blue dress and a long white cardigan, with a white sneakers that she borrowed from Jennie while her hair is let loose onto her shoulders. She is excited and even make an effort to put some light make up.

She patiently wait for Jinyoung. Sitting on the bench under the tree, she grabbed a chocolate from inside her sling bag and munched it. Her eyes darted to her surroundings. There's a lot of couples holding hands and talking happily while their eyes on each other. Jisoo grimaced. She look to her watch.

It's only 10 in the morning and they already here, wasting time by looking to each other?

A thought by the girl who had waited there for 30 minutes for being too excited for her first date.

She sighed and continue munching her chocolate. One habit that she has, she will eat sweet things if she is nervous. She glanced to her watch again.

"It's already 10.05 am. Where is he? He said to meet him on 10.00."

"Hey"

"AHH"

Jisoo abruptly stood up. Her hands on her chest and her eyes widen in shock.

"Jinyoung! You startled me!"

Jinyoung flashed Jisoo his gummy smile before sitting down on the bench. He patted the sit beside him, motioning Jisoo to sit but Jisoo only froze in her state.

"Come here, Jisoo. Why are you just standing there?" He gently pulled Jisoo's sleeve to make her sit.

"I'm just five minutes late and you already being impatient. I thought you don't like date?" He grinned.

"Shut up!" She blushed. "I-I don't like waiting."

"I don't like waiting too. So, would you accept me as your boyfriend now?" Jinyoung teased. Seeing her blushing, he laughed. "Anyway, you look so beautiful today."

"I'm beautiful everyday."

"Yes. I know." He chuckled. "But you look more beautiful today. The dress suit you so much and I think, this is the first time you actually look like a girl." That makes Jisoo blushed before she frowned.

"What does that mean? Before this I don't look like a girl?"

Jinyoung continue chuckling and stood up. He gently intertwined his fingers with Jisoo's. "Since this is a date, I can hold your hand, right?" He look down to Jisoo but she just stared at their hands.

"If you are not comfortable, you can let go."

But Jisoo did not let go.

"Where are we going?" Jisoo slowly walk with their hands still intertwined.

"Dog''s cafe."

"Do-" Her heart rate grew faster. Her face turned pale.

Jisoo is afraid of big dog.

The bell rang echoed when Jinyoung push the door. Instantly, she hooked Jinyoung's arm neatly. Jinyoung who noticed this didn't say anything. He still don't know that Jisoo is afraid of dogs.

"Hello." A woman greeted both of them. "Welcome to the cafe." She smiled sweetly and then glance secretly to Jinyoung. Jisoo frowned. Jisoo hissed and widen her eyes to the girl.

"Kim Jisoo, stop that. You are scaring her." Jinyoung whispered. Hearing Jinyoung called her name like that, she quickly look down and let go of his hand. Suddenly feel weird when Jinyoung called her like that. It's like she's doing something wrong.

Jinyoung put his palm on her head and guide her to the one of glass room. Everything in the room looks so luxury.

"Oh my. I can't believe that the place for dogs is more luxurious than my house." She muttered and earned a chuckled from Jinyoung.

Entering the room, there are like five tables and four chairs for each table.

"They will release the dog later. Or maybe now." Hearing that, Jisoo froze on her state. Her eyes looking horrorly to the dogs that are being released. She wanted to run to Jinyoung but the dogs are surrounding him.

Oh no.

Please don't bark.

"Kyaaa!"

Jisoo suddenly shouted and run to the nearest table to her left. She climbed the table with her heels but she sprawled onto the chair, making one of the heel broken. She quickly throw the broken heel towards Jinyoung's direction and continue climbing. After stabilizing her body on the table, she look up to the ceiling and swing to the rope that she believe is used as the decoration.

She don't have time to think. Or more like, she didn't want to think.

Holding to the rope, she swung her body to the one of the food rack. Jisoo kneeling on the rack while her eyes staring down to the dogs that are looking up to her. Her body is shaken but she suddenly hissed to the dogs.

"What happe-." he workers stopped talking when they saw Jisoo on the rack, hissing to the dogs.

"Jisoo."

She shook her head and close her face with her palm.

"Jisoo, get down here."

She continued kneeling on the rack.

"Kim Jisoo."

This time, she slowly let down her palm and look to him

"Get down here. There are no dogs now."

She look around before looking down to him again. "I-I-", she stuttered.

"Why?"

"I don't know how to get down."

Jinyoung ducked down to hold a smile. Why the hell that she is too adorable.

"Jump down. I'll catch you."

She look to my spread arms and shook again. "You're hurt. And bleeding."

His hand quickly touch his left shoulder. Yeah. It's bleeding and actually hurting him. He got this after Jisoo unconsciously throwed her heel towards his direction and hit him.

"It's okay. Just get down now before they release the dogs again." Hearing that, she quickly straight up herself and jump into his arms. He let go of her and touch his shoulder.

"Why you didn't tell me that you are afraid of dog?"

"You didn't ask me."

"You should told me what you likes and dislikes."

"I like cats." She bowed down. "I don't like dog because they bark. And big. And scary. And they-" She choked. Jinyoung put his palm on her head.

"Shhh. It's okay." She nodded and wipe her tears. "No wonder you were like a cat earlier. Hissing to the dogs." he laughed.

She only bowed and fidgeting with her fingers. After getting treated from the workers of the cafe, he ask them to release a puppy for both of them. They agreed after make sure everything is gonna be okay after this.

Jinyoung struggle a lot to make sure Jisoo is touching the innocent puppy. She sometimes shrieked and hissed before successfully hold the dog.

Jisoo. This is not a typical date when you climb
