Chapter 06

Jisoo was late. Too late! The school gate would closed on 8 am but now was already 8.30 am. She was 30 minutes late. She could imagine Mr Jung, that old teacher compelled her to wash his car for being late. Last time, Jisoo had to weed the grass in school's field. She didn't want to face it again. So, she decided to climb the big tree near the school to get in. Thankfully she was wearing her leggings under her skirt. As she stood on the big branches, she quickly jumped into the school.

"Argh! What the-"

She looked down. It was Park Jinyoung. She landed on Park Jinyoung's body!

Oh my goodness! What have I done? My angel was hurt!

"Omo! I'm so sorry, I don't see you." Jisoo quickly got down from him and kneeling beside him. 

"I'm really sorry. Sorry! Sorry!" she begged his forgiveness while her hands trying to remove the dirt on his white t-shirt because of her shoes. Her hands were trembling badly but she ignored it.

"Kim Jisoo!" a deep voice called hername.

"What?" Jisoo responded.

"Are you late?" that same voice asked.

"Yes. How did you know?"

"You were late again?" his voice raised.

She snapped. This familiar voice. She looked up to Jinyoung. His eyes were looking behind her. She shut her eyes in frustration. Jisoo hated that voice.

"Kim Jisoo!"

She slowly turned around and meet that old fat teacher, Mr Jung.

"You were late."

"Look. I was late because my alarm does not ring"

"For the seventh time, you gave the same reason."

"But it's true!"

"Clean the pool in block C."

"What?But I-"

"Now! You too, Jinyoung. You skipped my P.E class. So, go help Jisoo" he left them.

She was scolded in front of Jinyoung. She mentally slapped her head. That was too embarrasing.

Jinyoung poked her shoulder. "Let's go. Because of him, I can skip Mr Junho's class too."

"You're enjoying this, huh?"

"Of course. Besides that, it's an honour to spend some time with you."

She froze. What did he just said?

He smiled when he saw her reaction. "Let's go" he pulled her hand. She could feel her body was trembling because of his touch.

Jinyoung playfully skimmed the surface of the pool with a leaf skimmer while watching Jisoo brushing the sides of the pool at the other side. She's doing that thoroughly. When she looked up, she frowned.

"Yah! What are you doing? There's no need to use that skimmer because there are no trees inside the school building. Go grab the pool vacuum!" she scolded him when seeing him doing a useless thing. Jinyoung held his laugh. She didn't even care to scold him although he was her senior.

He grabbed the pool vacuum inside the store room. After Jisoo finished brushing the pool, he quickly vacuum the floors of the swimming pool before she scold him again. 

Jisoo test the water's pH levels to make sure the pool was safe to use as Jinyoung checked the pool filter. After one hour cleaning the pool, he was lying on the floor while she was swaying her legs inside the pool, playing with water.
